Heads up, sportsfans.. Bobby "Sheets" Byrd will be speaking live at noon, EST on C-span 3, and also webcast. C-span 's website states that Durbin, Kennedy, and Schumer will accompany him. Not sure if they will also speak. Will Byrd sink to new lows. He called the GOP Hitlers and Nazis on the Senate floor last week. What's left? "Klingons?"

FYI...Trent Lott said last night that Byrd's comments gave the GOP leadership enough votes for the nuclear option..maybe Sheets can give them a filabuster proof Senate in 2006.

Will Byrd step in enough doo-doo to threaten his chances for re-election in 2006, if he doesn't retire.

And don't forget...Rush is on at noon..I expect that he'll have plenty of excerpts of Sheets on the air...

Yes, Bobby is going to step in it deeper than ever before. This is THE kook crowd, they're drooling for red meat and ole Bobby boy will oblige them with gusto. He was holding back when talking in front of the senate, now is his big chance to go down in history.
