I lived for my VIC-20 and C-64 back in the good old days. What neat machines they were!

LOL.....I remember in grad school in the mid 80s all the Commodores out there and many were doing part time work from home doing word processing....even then for most of my grad work and not being computer literate per se, I had to go down into the basement of one of the buildings and work my statistical analysis from BioMed and SPSS programs on huge networked stations.......had to wait a day to get my results on the green and white computer paper

back in the day when we used to BBS

Those were fun -- sort of community internets.

My first purchased computer was the Commodore Plus-4. I bought it on a Saturday, and Commodore announced they were discontinuing support of it on the following Monday. lol.

I had previously used a Tandy TRS-80, Model II, with dual floppy drives (8" platter size) and a whopping 64k of memory.

Ah yes, the good ol' BBS days. Sending packet now!

I can remember working on my AT&T at night by the light of that old green screen!

Will the disk drive bang the read-write arm against the stepper motor stop like the old C-64 drives? (This was the crudest form of antipiracy at the time).
