The woman who was held hostage in her apartment by the suspect in Atlanta's courthouse slayings came forward to give an account of her ordeal, saying he let her go after they bonded while discussing God, family, pancakes and the massive manhunt going on outside her apartment.

You don't think referring to someone as an airhead and a sheep is denigrating?
Or are you just hoping that no one noticed?
Whether by accident or design, the situation turned out as well as it could. Maybe cutting her a little slack is in order?
She is elevating the murderer into something he is not. He is not someone to be pitied. He is someone who needs a good deal of justice thrown his way.
Actually, the headline and the story is: Captor "bonded" with Hostage!
Our Church teaches that when God gives you the chance, you take it. God helps you, but you have to use what he gives to overtake the bad.
We have one retired minister that is in his eighties. He was a Military Chaplain in WWII, Korea and two tours of Vietnam and now serves the VA hospital. He will tell you that you have got to take responsibility for your safety. That God will help you, but you have got to work for it to make it happen. He is CCL holder and carries.
What are you really trying to say?
She was just interviewed by Sean Hannity on his radio show. He asked her that exact question, and she responded that she was not going to answer, that she wanted justice to fairly take it's course in this case, and didn't want to have any influence on it.
She is a remarkable woman. Why there are so many people who want to disparage her is unbelievable to me.
Have you heard her whole interview?
She told him that he needed to face what he had done. He said it to his face, that he needed to turn himself in. That's a lot braver than slapping her around on this thread is.
How people can pick her apart after what she went through floors me.
Remember those snipers were caught by a man of faith who had prayed with his buddies that they would be caught, while I think it ironic that the priest ignored the phone call and didn't report it to anyone.
Maybe people didn't pray that that courtroom would be protected. I can't exactly fault them for that since God isn't allowed in courtrooms any more.
does she get the reward money?
I don't know if people just enjoy argument and seek to find it, or if they love to attack women or what, but it's sure maddening.
My guess would be that some people just can't handle a remarkable woman... or a remarkable man for that matter.
I was listening to Rush talk about it and he kept mentioning she was reading Rick Warrne's "The Purpose Driven Life," which indicates that she's a Christian.
In light of that, her actions and attitudes make complete sense. The world cannot comprehend it, so they fear it and attack it.
No, that is not how she is acting.
Have you listened to it? Have you listened to it?
One segment she talked of the victims, how they were likely parents with children. She said this to HIM, forced HIM to talk about the victims. What is the matter with you that all you hear is one answer where she says pities the man?
Have you listened to it? Have you listened to it?
I don't see why not.
You are so on the money here!
Like my Grandaddy used to say "Some folks wouldn't be happy in heaven with a white picket fence."
Apparently you haven't read all my post. I have said repeatedly that she was brave. It's her actions in the aftermath that I have a problem with.
It's called disagreeing with you.
