WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, al Qaeda's chief ally in Iraq, may be planning attacks on "soft targets" in the United States including movie theaters, restaurants and schools, Time magazine reported on Sunday. White House national security adviser Stephen Hadley would not discuss the specific warning, which Time said was circulated among U.S. security agencies last week in a restricted bulletin. But he said the administration was concerned about reports -- "which we think are very credible" -- that Zarqawi is working more closely with Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda organization. Hadley said movie theaters, restaurants and schools "are the kinds of targets we know that al Qaeda has traditionally been concerned about." "But we, at this point sitting here, do not have evidence of a specific operation by Zarqawi's organization targeting those kinds of targets. We just don't have that kind of information at this point," Hadley told CNN's "Late Edition." The warning comes two weeks after President Bush, in a rare public mention of the mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, said stopping bin Laden from a new attack on U.S. soil was "the greatest challenge of our day." Time said the bulletin was based on the interrogation of a member of Zarqawi's organization. It cited Zarqawi's belief that "if an individual has enough money, he can bribe his way into the U.S.," by obtaining a visa to Honduras and then traveling across Mexico and the southern U.S. border.

Been there done that...
There are few things more nerve wracking than having a loaded .45 under the dash, and getting pulled over by the Compton PD. . . .
You are right, I dont think I would want to go there just to make a point better made by the Vote of the People.
The only exception would be a time of War. . .real War. If it becomes like Israel in the USA, if we are forced to bear an enemy within complete with suicide bombers.. I would think it acceptable to not only keep, but bare, arms.
Take a deep breathe, calm down, be sure to take your medication.
Lesson no.1; projection is when someone thinks someone else is actually saying what they are saying.
Your inability to respond does not make the question stupid.
You make disgusting statements comparing Nanking to our defense and somehow say I want to kill all muslims.
Both disgustung statements. Neither of which did I make.
Keep calm now. Wait for the meds to take effect.
Learn to think clearly.
Hey you know if you think I'm unimportant that means you are too.
Who do you think you are making comparisons to events like Nanking? Calling our defense genocide.
You are an ingrate.
Enjoying the freedom that others die for then judging them for what they do because you are upset.
OTOH, driving through Compton without one could be hazardous to your continued existence.
The Monday morning conversations in crystal pulling, fab and assembly were frequently centered on who got shot that weekend...
This could also cause ...
1. Elimination of idiotic gun control laws
2. The closing and militarization of our borders ... finally
3. The deportation of ALL illegals in this country ... please please please.
4. The deportation of ALL enemy aliens
5. The loss of tolerance for America hating groups and philosophies
I know it's only a wish list ... but we can only hope
*sigh* Sadly, all available evidence says you aren't...
Lessee... It looks like your suggesting that killing Muslims, whether they're guilty or not, will actually make them turn against the bad guys.
So we see that not only are you a fool, but my "thinking like a nazi" suggestion seems to be correct.
eep... "you're suggesting".
Are you telling me that you didn't mean what you quite clearly said?
Ain't life grand when you're living in denial?
And somehow all problems and misunderstandings are someone else's.
I wouldn't know -- why don't you tell us about it?
Let's see you say that high-falutin' crap if its one of YOUR loved ones or God forbid kids that's killed by these subhuman animals.
Nuke Mecca, that'll teach 'em.
You sound like some misguided DUmmie.
And you've lost the argument. Godwin's Law says the first party in an online discussion to refer to his opponent as either Schicklgruber or a Nazi immediately loses the argument.
Just a matter of time.
One of the most important things in a war is to avoid doing stupid things that make your war more difficult than it has to be. Your "kill 'em all" foolishness is precisely what bin Laden and his ilk are trying to get you to do.
Lest we forget, folks on this thread are apparently not content with confining the killing to the actual terrorists. You're defending a position that appears to call for the deaths of Muslims in general (to get their attention, apparently).
Suppose you actually get the chance to go off and do some of the killing you're defending. How do you expect the non-terrorist Muslims will respond to that? Do you think they'd just roll over and give up? Nope -- they'd fight. And you'll have made an unnecessary enemy.
Lemme 'splain somethin' to ya, Lucy......
Many of the ones who AREN'T terrorists certainly know who IS and who MIGHT BE.
The fact that there's SILENCE from them makes them equally guilty as those who actually commit acts of terror. The day they start turning them in, denouncing publicly and loudly what the extremists do, maybe even issue a few fat'was and do some "internal housecleaning", (like the mob), of their own people would go a long way to defusing anything happening to them.
However if they don't after say a school is attacked and lots of kids are butchered? There will be hell to pay in the Muslim community because they didn't stop something or drop a dime on someone, or didn't come oot with enough condemntation fast enough.
They'll prolly send CAIR to moan and whine about how unfair thgey're treated and that thgey're being profiled. Well, that'll be the least of their worries.
One American child is worth more than 1,000 of them, so there.
It's interesting that the only place I've ever seen Godwin's Law brought up, is on threads like this, by people who are advocates of killing Muslims. They (and you?) bring up this "law" in order to get a free pass for stupid things they've said.
In reality, Mr. Godwin's "law" is merely a helpful guide for certain types of ad-hominem argumentation. If, however, it can be shown that the accused is in fact advocating nazi-like action, such as the wholesale killing of people based on their religion, then Mr. Godwin's helpful but non-binding law is superceded by the facts of the case at hand.
If you've been paying attention to some of the comments on this thread, you will have noticed folks calling for killing people, not because they are terrorists, but because they are Muslims.
Not only is the "kill 'em all" approach morally impermissible, but it is also immensely impractical. If you can't abide being reminded of your moral duties, then at least bow to the utter impracticality of your position.
