Prayers needed for Onyx and her husband

Posted on 03/14/2005 1:02:01 AM PST by Trinity_Tx

Onyx's husband fell thru a glass door and severed an artery in his arm this morning. He almost bled to death while waiting for 911 to come, but they made it.

They've been at the hospital since noon, with him in and out of surgery. They are back in surgery now, with 3 surgeons trying to repair a lot of torn and severed veins and archeries. He's lost a lot of blood, they've given him 6 pints so far.

It's very complicated, but those are the basics.

Yeeesh!

Times like these sure make us appreciate, and even look forward to, that good ol' monotony, huh? lol

The best part though, is feeling the affection of our friends.

Awesome. : )

Great news, onyx! From your description of the injury, 'miraculous' would certainly seem to be the appropriate word.

Prayers continue for both of you.

Was just about to offer prayers but see those before me had exactly what was needed to be heard. So glad to hear he's on the mend.
