See any anthropology text. These are standard definitions for the races of man. "White" = Caucasoid, "Black" = Negroid, Asian (and their American descendants via the Bering Straits during the last Ice Age---American Indians) = Mongoloid. Sometimes the Australian aborigines are included in a separate category called "Australoid".

The "Asian" = "American Indian" = Mongoloid is proven by many different scientific studies, including genetic DNA analysis.

I have a question for those of you in the know. Home Depot has 2 GSA contracts. Is it not true that if you are doing business with the Federal Government that you must not discriminate against any group of Americans or support those that do? If so, isn't this a direct violation, enough in fact to get Home Depot removed from ever getting any Government contracts again?

I am going to do some more research on this myself but thought someone else out there might have a better handle on it.

I for one am sick of "La Raza" being referred to as a HISPANIC civil rights organization. The concept of "La Raza Cosmica" is UNIQUE to MEXICO, not any other Latin American country.

I have no problem with companies putting up signs in other languages if it allows them to reach a certain market (that's capitalism after all). Its when they don't have ANY English speaking staff that I get upset and even in those rare cases, I simply move on to the next store.

The whole language issue is a tempest in a teapot. Every second generation Mexican/Colombian/Chinese/Arab, etc. that I have met speaks English. Its just that we have such a huge amount of first generation people in this country now.
