Received word this morning that my brother, Orvil L. Robinson, of San Antonio, Texas died yesterday afternoon after fighting a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jane (Hodges) Robinson, two children, Cheryl Moran of San Antonio and Jeff Robinson of California, and several grandchildren. He was retired from the U.S. Weather Bureau. He was a US Navy veteran. Served as a meteorologist aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kearsarge in the '50s. He was a good and decent, loving man who will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

My prayers are with you and your brother. This little verse gave me much comfort when my oldest brother died - I even had it printed on the programs for his memorial service.
Imagine these things: stepping onto a shore and finding it heaven
taking hold of a hand and finding it Christ's hand
breathing new air and finding it celestial air
feeling invigorated and finding it immortality
passing from storm and tempest to an unbroken calm
waking up and finding it home!
