Rice pointedly declined to rule out running for president in 2008 on Friday during an hour-long interview with reporters at WASHINGTON TIMES, top sources tell DRUDGE. Rice gave her most detailed explanation of a 'mildly pro-choice' stance on abortion, she would not want the government 'forcing its views' on abortion... She explained that she is libertarian on the issue, adding: 'I have been concerned about a government role'... Developing late Friday for Saturday cycles... MORE...
No, I asked YOU if you would call her one and you dodged the answer.
But somebody you don't even know who doesn't know a thing about your family is more than willing to call your mother one, sight unseen.
>>>OMG. My aunt died of ovarian cancer too; I know what they go through. I didn't even know the human body could go through such hell.>>>
My mother died of ovarian cancer. Hell wasn't the word. I'm sorry about your aunt.
Murder an innocent child to remedy a rape? You are pitiful.
Unforgiven abortionists will go to hell.
People who are pro abortion will go with them.
You are precisely the same as a Democrat. Worse actually.
You have made my night. I can sleep happy now. Those big monsters eating my flowers were babies once! Love it!
You should see me running outside at midnight in my jammies chasing deer. Okay, you really shouldn't.
Actually, I consider it to be fundamental. The primary duty of government is the protection of innocent human life. That principle is the rock on which the republic is built...it is even placed in the founding documents just ahead of the protection of liberty.
I did say it. I will say it again. You are pathetic.
No, you are more pro life than Condi Rice. She is too damn coy by half. You're not. You tell it like it is and let the chips fall. My kind of guy.
That is precisely what she is.
She even describes the pro-lifers as the "other side".
Damn...I asked several of the most ardent Condi worshippers here to prove their false claims that her views were the same as Bush's and these very FReepers knew that thread you were pinged to existed....completly refuting their claims and wasted my time.
What a joke.
That Wash Times article is just more proof she is Pro-Choice.....Pro-Choice lite to be fair but she is no Pro-Lifer.
Geez.
Only innocent human life? What about the guilty?
Good enough for me - I'll never vote for one of them. (go ahead: call me whatever kind of *-ist you want - her parents might as well have been pro-choice)
I don't answer such crass questions. If you don't like it, that's tough.
"Free speech should never be tampered with. At all."
God bless your right to say it.
I know the left likes to throw that around for every excuse possibly in an attempt to keep all types of abortion legal
I admit that it bothers me when they do that
But I also have to admit that there are some cases where it is true
And I think that is what Condi meant .. those rare cases
Laura bush said it:
Her actions prompted a Washington Times reporter to ask Laura Bush whether she has changed her mind on the issue of abortion. And White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer said it:Asked on Thursday whether she is now pro-life, the First Lady responded, "Yes, I think abortion should be rare."
Laura Bush also told Times reporter Bill Sammon that she agreed with President Bush that human life begins at conception.
"I think the president's efforts are going to focus immediately on those things that we can get done. There is a series of steps we can take to make abortion rare." he said.
Well...the theme tonight on abortion is that guys just don't "get it" from a few of the lasses.
You might be a Pro-Infanticide Discriminationist but luckily.....that is still ok around here!
Now, I'm always debating my pal Torie. Wonder why? :-}
"Caesar doesn't bear the sword in vain", is the way the scripture puts it.
Governments are given power by God to execute justice on the guilty. That's what the Bible says, and that has been the position of Judeo-Christian civilization for millenia.
Condi and Hillary have to pander to the moderates while not pissing off us hard core conservatives. We are not enough to elect a republican. Keep that in mind before kicking her to the curb.
