I don't like him, but that's beside the point. She said she wouldn't want to live like that. What's so hard to believe about that? I don't know anybody who'd want to live like that.

Honestly, I think a lot more people would have been more sympathetic to Michael if he had done this years ago before telling a jury he needed money to take care of Terri for the rest of HIS (Michael's) life. It seems a bit suspicious to get the money, then not long after stop even basic hygeine care for her and say, "Oh. I forgot. She once said she wants to die."

Perhaps another way to look at is is, do you know of anybody who'd want to die like that?

Perhaps from the moment the feeding tube is pulled, those who think this is the way Terri would want to die should try going without food and water for the duration-- until Terri starves to death.
