I know it's early, but please God, deliver us from John McCain. He's whacko.
If this is true, America is insane.
80% of voters aren't even paying any attention yet and probably think Condoleezza Rice is a brand-new Rice-A-Roni flavor. They'll first wake up and start listening sometime during the summer of 2008.
The only one of these I would vote for is Dr. Rice.
Rudy would be a landslide. All the other rep candidates would be a mudslide.
McCain has baggage similar to Kerry's from Vietnam?
I thought McCain served honorably, was a POW for numerous years, and didn't protest the war when he returned?
Not that I'd vote for him now, based on his recent wishy-washy political actions, but I thought his service years ago was without question.
I didn't know about that - yes, that would be used against him. Personally, I would have a hard time blaming someone for anything they did if they were tortured first. If that was the case.
I sure hope we can come up with a better candidate though. One that isn't on the fense so often, but is still electable by the majority.
LOL! I know! After the last year I despise them, especially since most of them were badly off.
candidates have not been announced. they have not engaged in campaigns with the American public. These polls at this stage indicate only two things. Name recognition and manipulation. No question we are being conditioned to accept only one outcome, and preferably only two candidates. McCain and Hill. I deny both.
Frankly I follow my instinct, which proved right through the hysteria of the last election cycle and ultimate outcome. I DO think Reps have a very good chance to hold on the W.H. IF they do what we elected them to do. Strong foreign policy, Ownership society and judges need to be addressed. Immigration could be a potential problem (how great I haven't determined) without good faith towards a reasonable compromise. Amnesty isn't happening. Neither is mass deportation on camera worldwide with the military being photographed marching thousands across the border.
