He was largely suspected of giving the enemy information while he was in POW camps. That information gave the enemy information on our tactics and other SOP which could have lead to many deaths of American soldiers.

I didn't know about that - yes, that would be used against him. Personally, I would have a hard time blaming someone for anything they did if they were tortured first. If that was the case.

I sure hope we can come up with a better candidate though. One that isn't on the fense so often, but is still electable by the majority.
