This is a breaking news situation.
A man entered a courtroom in the Fulton County Courthouse this morning and shot a Fulton County Sheriff's deputy, a clerk and a judge; there are reports from both WSB and WAGA, the judge is deceased.
The perp has carjacked multiple vehicles -- now on his third -- and is still at large.
I've just come from downtown Atlanta, and the city is a madhouse.
Live video now!

You had to throw a sexist comment into this mix? I'm sure there are plenty of incompetent EMTs of both sexes. What you pointed out says a lot more about you than it does female EMTs.
Was there a locale included?
I think I just heard them say: After perp got out of building...then shot another deputy on the street....then, opened the car door of an Atlanta Journal reporter and pistol whipped him. So, did he also shoot a court reporter, and pistol whip a news reporter? I am confused.
Heck, maybe I skimmed past yours and thought I thought it......lol.
Press-checking the 1911 right now
Gwinnett cops don't play. DeKalb cops don't play. Cobb, Roswell, .... it seems only Fulton County cops are pushovers.
g1
FNC: Perp had been out on bond and so wasn't cuffed.
" Suspect could be headed toward Alabama "
Excellent choice !! Right for the electric chair....
I-75 North of I-285.
Yes and yes.
My thoughts exactly!
WSB now reporting he may be in:
5th vehicle
TAG: 4697AJY
green Isuztsu (sp) Trooper
=====
GA Dept of Transportation still looking for the green Honda. They apparently haven't been updated.
====
Perp may be returning to an area of the city where he used to live.
I stepped away for a half hour but heard some (female) judge via phone on MSNBC about 10 min ago advocating all be disarmed, including the deputies.
Good grief.
So, is a News-copter following his moves...or a LE-copter? Can't they just lob a missile into the vehicle? Wishful thinking.
Wrong rant.
My version:
WHEN are we going to seriously train our law enforcement officers with regard to the most powerful weapon at their disposal --- the firearm!
Firearms training for local and state law enforcement is a joke.
A simple holster change would make it more difficult for perps to remove the sidearm of an officer when struggling.
fwiu, he's had access to lots of guns and ammo now...
Either he gets clean away or, if the cops track him down, he turns the last bullet on himself.
This has all the hallmarks of one of those.
