This is a breaking news situation.
A man entered a courtroom in the Fulton County Courthouse this morning and shot a Fulton County Sheriff's deputy, a clerk and a judge; there are reports from both WSB and WAGA, the judge is deceased.
The perp has carjacked multiple vehicles -- now on his third -- and is still at large.
I've just come from downtown Atlanta, and the city is a madhouse.

My husband is the one who informed me of the poor showin' at the rodeo. I swear to Pete, he went out last weekend for the specific purpose of hunting rattlesnakes for y'all. He didn't have much luck, but I love him for trying.

Yea, but like you mentioned, that was seven hours ago. I'm still inclined to believe he's long gone.

If possible y'all ought to try to make it "Down Texas Way" this weekend.

Where did you all find that mayor? Yuck! The city of Atlanta is only a small part of the Atlanta metro area. The city of Atlanta only has around 400,000 people while the Atlanta metro area has about 4 million.
Since Fulton county has a very narrow shape, most of the population actually lives outside of the city limits. Counties like Dekalb, Gwinnett and Cobb contain most of population. A huge number of people also live with Fulton county outside of the city of Atlanta (Alpharetta, etc).
This makes the city of Atlanta easily controlled by urban interests. Most Atlanta area residents don't even know who the mayor is since they don't live in the city proper.

Dear lord, a guy on Fox News just asked Judge Napolitano "If this guy is captured, will he still have the same jury?" Not a bad idea. LOL!

I agree, but check out what I posted in #881 on this thread. What a surreal experience that was -- I thought I was in the Twilight Zone or something.
