Up is down, left is right, right is wrong. The day is coming when we're going to have to take America back from the socialists, communists and looney leftists.
They are gossips, slanderers, Godhaters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. Romans 1:30-32
I am going to continue to think it is weird and abhorent for two guys to prance around in pink tutu's. I don't intend to pay any attention to the "needs" of a transgendered what-ever-you-call-it. And the government and the ivory tower academics will leave my ass alone regarding how I regard those matters. I promise you they will.
I tell you it is true, that one day, all that is bad will be good, and all that is Good will be Bad!
Also, the mallets and balls were not exactly being tortured to death. There is no indication in the passage that the animals were anything other than puzzled and perhaps annoyed:
As for Alice taking part in the game......naturally she did. She found herself transported to a world of insanity and she realized that she had to make the best of her situation while simultaneously not losing her own sanity.
In the end, it helps the Conservative point of view because there is no way with all this immoral behavior coming into our living rooms will be accepted as mainstream.

We have to take our country back, and it seems that the onlyway for this to happen is for us the MAJORITY of the people is to show up on the steps of the capitol and the white house and to demand that our President, Congress and the Supreme Court act in the BEST Interest of the AMERICAN PEOPLE. To Defend Our Constitutional Republic and our Countries Borders and Laws and to Demand that the Laws are interpreted as intended!!

Speaking of the "peeping tom" mentality, it of course has been here for awhile, they have been trying to get the good folks to go places that we know in our hearts we are not to go or to look into for awhile, areas that were meant to remain private and discrete. I remember in very early 70s, was in 5th, 6th grade and they brought all us girls into the school gym for THE big health assembly to tell us all the things we needed to know in this regards in case our parents had not covered the bases at this late age of 10 or 11, all the standard giggling of course. But we all knew deep down that there was something wrong with these so very personal things being talked about in such a very out in the air up front bold way, by strangers, no discretion, privacy, quietness, no, God forbid, how Victorian.
The irony is they said we would feel better if these things where discussed out in the open, that self esteems would be better, etc., but it is obviously just the opposite. The Lord intended these things to be so private, discreet, for us to look the other way and leave private things private, we know this in our heart because God our creator fills us with shame when we do otherwise.

"......fills us with shame"
We need to bring 'shame' back.
It's desperately needed. The ones who see the need to incessantly talk about "private matters" (sex) have an obscene obsession with them. And they'd like for all of us to share with them in their obscenity.

Bump for a good article.
Say hi to Mrs. Venable, she doesn't know me but I'm a fan of hers. The Sierra Times is blessed with some very formidable women on staff, the kind of women who need to be raising the next generation of children for the whole country. We need about another 40,000,000 just like them.

Exceptional article!!
My Dad always told us, you can't hide or run from reality, it will be there, every second of every minute of every hour of every day, biting you in the butt, every step of the way."
Reality is all we have, and true happiness can only be achieved when living in it, and dealing with it. Deviancy is immoral and that IS reality. The depraved will never be absent there guilt and "feel comfortable" no matter how much reality they live in denial of, or how much our laws allow them to. Reality is always there, we do them no kindness but not addressing it and insisting on laws that exemplify it.
Society can only live as long as people conform to a natural law. Without natural law and order, you have only lawlessness.

A genuine descent into madness can be felt upon reading exactly how a healthy, brain damaged human being, Terri Schiavo, was illegally sentenced to a hospice, illegally admitted (no dying), and illegally put on medicaide....all in order to kill her. The following article not only shows the documentation of all of the above...but PROVES that this is judicial premeditated MURDER.
Go to:

Talk about JUDICIAL TYRANNY....and this one could lead to DEATH.

I should've thought to add in the misanthropes along with the deviants, etc. There've always been mankind-haters (Hemlock Society, NOW, NARAL, PlannedParenthood) throughout history and our 'deviancy-up' culture is one in which they're entirely at home.

Doesn't it seem as though "hiding from and denying reality" has reached pandemic proportions? "Let's play pretend" seems to be the byword of today.

Because it IS the byword today. And we are not doing them any favors by enabling it.

Man, that Charles Dana Gibson could sure draw.
Gibson is among my favorite artists along with John Chandler Christy, and many others whose names escape me now. I also like the fashion illustustrators of the time like M. Emma Musselman and Karl Kleinschmidt who did works from magazines like "Ladies Home Journal," "Women's Home Companion," and in the case of Kleinschmidt, "The Delineator" during the 1900 - 1915 time period. I guess being a bit of a "Neo-Victorian" myself, I enjoy their art and the magazines actually had good general articles anyone of the period (or even today" could enjoy along with stories from Kipling, Frank Baum, and other authors of the time.
Sadly, we are in a world where bad is good and so on and I do believe there is going to be a time when we will have a showdown with the libertines.

You hit the nail on the head, I do believe such things are more meant to be discussed in private between parents and children, husband and wife, or if someone is seeking help, between that person and someone who will listen and help like a doctor, clergy, trusted friend and so on. Heck, if you see some of the commercials for feminine hygene products, they are a lot more open on TV now than I remember in the 1970's. I admit being a guy, in our case, we might tell dirty jokes around the campfire and such but I think in society, I really don't feel comfortable discussing such things except in the most abstract if I have to. It seems there are many of us here of the same ilk.
