""They watch R rated movies, enjoy a few drinks at happy hour, and even go to the occasional Wrestlemania.""
Bush never watched an R rated movie? All South Park Republicans are, are young Republicans who have yet to settle down.
Interesting way to put it. I would bet you're right.
I'm a South Park Republican. But-I will remain one once I am married.
Interesting side note (and it's something I am struggling with). My girlfriend is a liberal Dem and more "stodgy" than most Republicans I know (light-non-drinker, doesn't like swearing in movies, or "dirty" jokes, etc-not that there's anything wrong with that, but she fits the stereotype most libs give US).
Recently, I met an online acquaintence in person (by chance, not intentional meeting) who turns out to be a female version of me in many ways. A female SPR (we even like the same movies and music). Too bad I'm not single.
They could also just be people who see the grumpy old cranks the dems put on TV. That's no fun:)
Bump for another SPR here (I was a freshman in college on 9-11... there are MANY of us)
Remember our cell phones... we don't get polled, but I saw it... I was there for the HUGE shift to the right in my friends. (wako libs became sensabile libs, sensabile libs became sensable consevs... sensable consrvs became strict constatutionalists)
I'm quite settled. I just have a guilty love of watching the politically correct get their hide nailed to the wall every week.
Or, possilbly

Poor Mr Slave!!! Mr. Garrison should have told him first!
Maybe but I'm 55, have three kids and a house in the burbs and I identify with the term "South Park Republican". It's not too different from libertarian really
Ruh roh... I'm a nearly 50yo and quite settled... The better half is 56, career Army, we have our requisite house in the suburbs and 2.5 children (.5 being the cat). We love South Park and vote (R) almost exclusively. How do we fit your theory?
I consider myself a South Park Republican. I'm in my 50s and a widow w/a grown son.
It's attitude, not age, that makes one SPR. My son is 28, very conservative and not SPR. Attitude.
