>>please just go and join the Democratic party.

Why would I want to do something silly like that?

Also, I'm 18, but it really is time to start the Husband (and in your case wife) hunting. Really, I don't want to be another Maureen Dowd.

Get to know yourself first! I was 29 before I married and I thank GOD I waited until I was really certain. You need to know yourself before you can look for someone that you are compatible with. At 18, I THOUGHT I knew who I was, since then, I have learned a LOT about how much I didn't know! Take your time. To make a mistake young only means that you have a LOT longer to live with that mistake!

Partly, yes. A short list of her beliefs:

America is an imperialist nation
All wars are wrong except The Civil War, WWII and the Revolutionary War (and those are debateable)
Patriotism is blind loyalty and ignorance
Universal Medical Care is a right
Jimmy Carter was our best President
Gays should be able to marry
Republicans are either rich or rednecks
I wouldn't be a Republican if I taught in inner-city schools and saw what she saw (this one baffles me)
It's all Bush's fault that teachers can't find jobs (even though last time I checked W wasn't in charge of the Akron Public School system)
NCLB is a horrible idea (I actually agree with her here but for different reasons)
All military funding should be diverted to education, the poor, medical care (pick your liberal pet project and insert here)
She IS Pro-life, at least

Well, Lauralee, you're a bit young for me (I'm 27) but you sound mature. If I lived in NY and were available, I'd take you on a date. Little ego stroke for ya there!

She's been brainwashed. You can set her straight. And if you can't then run. If she's pro life there's hope.

Bump for another SPR here (I was a freshman in college on 9-11... there are MANY of us)

Remember our cell phones... we don't get polled, but I saw it... I was there for the HUGE shift to the right in my friends. (wako libs became sensabile libs, sensabile libs became sensable consevs... sensable consrvs became strict constatutionalists)

Hope that clears it up.

Oh, I agree. I meant it's time to start looking for good husband/father material. 18-21 is an important time for individual growth.

I photographed for the elementary and other schools in the South Park (CO)

We got a great picture of a school in Victoria (Canada) named South Park that even looked the school in South Park, Flag & all. It was really cool.

And then, after singing a patriotic song, they all went back to being left wing liberals.

We haven't forgotten about September 11th, but they have. Who is more Patriotic of the two parties? Republicans win that hands down.

Jimmy Carter was our best President
I'm sorry... but that alone, puts her in the wackaloon-barking-moonbat category.

They didn't do it...
Conan: Michael Moore is depicted in this film (Team America) along with a lot of other celebrities. And I talked about it with one of our producers after we saw the movie because you guys sort of go after Michael Moore. And it thought, "That's surprising," because Michael Moore was in Bowling for Columbine, it's his movie, he interviewed you (points to Matt) on Bowling for Columbine and I remember thinking I thought those guys were friends with Michael Moore. Did you have a falling out?

Matt: It wasn't so much a falling out. He asked me to do the interview for Bowling for Columbine because I grew up in Littleton, Colorado. So I thought, okay, I'll talk about growing up in Littleton, Colorado. What he did that made us a little angry is he put an animation in right after my piece in Bowling in Columbine that is very South Park-esque in its look. And I think 99% of the people who saw Bowling for Columbine think Trey and I did that animation.
