What has changed since Sept. 11? Not much, except the invaders have become more aggressive. They're a scarier breed now, with an attitude of entitlement about what they're doing and a willingness to threaten anyone who interferes. But the ACLU is more interested in monitoring the Minuteman Project to make sure the so-called civil rights of illegals aren't violated. Meanwhile, these good, hardworking people are prisoners on their own property.

We need to protect our southern border with the same tenacity that the government takes to protect Area 51.

If I haul them to town, I'm trafficking. If I take them in, I'm harboring. If I feed them all, I go broke. If I deny them, they steal. If I'm vulnerable, they take advantage. If my dog bites them, I have to pay their medical bills. If I haul off a known trafficking vehicle, I face auto theft. If I carry a gun because I'm afraid, I'm a vigilante.
Catch-22 in every varity possible. I feel for this man

Talvy says he's noticed a funny thing: the number of drug cars that have statues of the Virgin hanging from the rearview, or the dashboard. There is nothing funny about mocking Mary like that.
Hail Mary, mother of God, please smile upon us as we violate American sovereignty, flaunt its laws and poison its people. Amen.
That about sums it up.

The US citizens who must live with this crap everyday are not making big enough donations to their elected officials I guess.

Leo Banks is a fantastic writer whose works are routinely published in Arizona Highways magazine. He has been crawling all over Arizona for the last 40 or 50 years and knows most all of the rural folk and every inch of the state nearly like the back of his hand.
This article tells me he is hurting. What he is telling us is what he has seen with his own two eyes, and he is telling it like it is.
I hope this gets the widest exposure possible...

These people and their supporters need to take lots of video footage and pay to run television ads on the theme: "Where is Washington?" Long, eloquent articles are great for the 10% of us that still know how to read, but video is the only real way left to get the message across.
Fear of national outrage and political backlash may be the only thing left that will get the President and the Senate to take the problem seriously.

...and that ain't the half of it!
Anyway, this is a great article especially coming from a leftist rag like the Tucson Weekly.
I know some of the people interviewed too.

The list of the different species of illegals in this article should come as a shock to those who think all who traspass our borders are humble dishwashers.
