Saddle bronc rider in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association in the 1980s, then parlayed that into a middling-successful country music career, mostly singing rodeo songs.

"A worn out tape of Chris Ledoux, lonely women and bad booze, seem to be the only friends I have at all."

Not many people know this but Chris was an explosive and dynamic live perfomer and Garth Brooks patterned a lot of what he did after Chris' performing style.

Chris was a good guy.

He's still out there riding fences. You just can't see him from the road.

I can proudly say that I went to a Chris LeDoux concert....during one song, all the young cowboys and wannabees threw their chew canisters on the stage.....

one of the best, most animated concerts I ever went to.....

I am going now to find his CD and put it up loud for my hubby to hear when he comes home.....

Yeah, like "who?"

Same thought here. But then, I didn't know who either Ayn Rand or Warren Zevon until I read their obits, then became fans of both.
