She was doing a segment on the Lefkow murders and had one of Matt Hale's 'friends' on. The guest went on and on about how the Jewish Defense League should be investigated and the sketches of the suspects 'look Jewish' and suggested that Ben Smith's murderous 1999 shooting spree was legitamate retaliation against 'Jewish vanadlism' against 'White Civil Rights' Groups

Greta just sat their smiling and nodding at this unsubstantiated garbage and blurted out 'well you and I don't see eye to eye...' Why would she be a medium for this sort of thing? What complete garbage. Fox really needs to think about the tabloid trash that it's peddling these days.

Roger Ailes is a genius. The "journalism" may be yellow but it's MY yellow and there's enough truth coming out of the tube that I have trouble switching to other forms of entertainment.

I believe one reason that Fox is successful is because they are more entertaining than the other news networks and programs on the air. After watching Fox, the other news channels are boring.

It would seem what would be appropriate would be a moderator saying 'Madam you have no basis for those assertions and I would appreciate if you don't use this program to cast unfounded aspersions'. Frankly I don't really know what that guest would have to offer since she hadn't seen hide nor hair of Hale since he was convicted. Did Greta want the random kook's POV? She had his Hale's mother on. That was relevant to the story.

stayed with CNN. She proudly and continuously repeats

False distinction. Jew and Judaism not seperable, Judaism at the deepest level is only all Jews, together -- no matter how externally "religious" one may not appear to be. What physical characteristics in common? I'd bet any genuine study would be hard pressed to find any -- Jews come in all body, skin, hair, and facial types and chracterictics.

I think she's giving the audience the opportunity to see these people for the jerks they are. You don't need any editorializing from Greta to know that someone who says that the pictures of the two suspects 'look Jewish' is a complete idiot.

Interesting stuff. Didn't know she was a Scientologist. I did know she was married to Coale, who is an embarrassment to the bar (and as a lapsed lawyer myself, that's saying something) but didn't know of her legal shenanigans.

Still, I like to give people enough rope to hang themselves and the idiot blaming the Jews for the Chicago killings was doing a good job all by herself and didn't need Greta to say a word.

I detest this tabloid, trial-of-the-week, gossip show. Never watch it, so I could care less what crap she's spewing this evening. It boggles my mind why Fox peddles this filth every weeknight at 10. Seems like a prime spot that could be filled with something semi-respectable and entertaining. I can safely say that noone in my household EVER watches FNC from 10-11 on weeknights.
