We agree Rush did not mention the Minutemen by name for some reason. I think you are probably right about him not wanting to swamp the MMP homepage.

Happily, anyone who is interested and intelligent enough to surf over to Rush's website can check the story out for himself and do additional googling if necessary. Isn't technology wonderful? :-)

Are you saying that those that oppose ILLEGAL INVASION are looney racist types?

Are you saying that Michael Savage is a racist?

With public outcry against the type of immigrants entering the country illegally, we will see continuing efforts to control the border expand to meet the sentiment of the people. We will not see an end to immigration due to our governments attempt to import cheap labor to offset global competition. The trick is to restrict the rapists, murderers, terrorists, and those who only wish to receive compensation from our government without contributing to the economy. As the illegals flood our cities and the ability of the city or state governments to absorb them fails and that city or state begins a path to deficits they cannot recover from without major tax increases and cuts to state and local programs, the legal citizens will feel the impact and the anti-immigration sentiment will grow into a roar. The other situation that may occur is a terrorist attack on one of our major cities that eventually gets tracked back to an illegal entry into the U.S. through Mexico or even Canada causing a public uproar and if in close timing with local, state, or national elections, the condition of being elected by the citizens might only happen if they were running on a political platform demanding immediate and drastic changes to out border security. As events in the war on terror unfold, they will determine some of the political agenda of politicians. If no terror strikes occur, the citizens will not rise to the occasion and focus on other issues of personal concern.

The "Poo"(edited for content), is really starting to hit the fan in regards to illegal immigrants. Guess we wait to see what the "Pro-Illegal" crowd will say about the next conservative voice to come out against illegal-aliens. Most politicians don't get it, but that's ok because the American people do, and as such we will remove their sorry arses from office.

On another front, I see the powers that be are finally starting to ban the long time "Race Baiters" so that the discussion at hand can be discussed instead of "Baited" into oblivion.

Yes, but not very forcefully. Otherwise he would have mentioned the President by name and brought up some of his "amnesty" proposals, etc.

i din't think so. "it" will convenietly be traced to someone who was here legally - either domestic or visa type. call me suspicious.. but then i tend to believe we don't know the whole story of the Oklahoma attack..

It has been, er, quieter around here lately. :-) At the same time, I haven't seen other FRiendly faces for a bit. Maybe I'm just on at the "wrong" time.

Your view is also true, mine is a little more hopeful that we could find them. Its only a matter of time and what we have done before "it" happens will determine the anger and outcry that follows, which may determine the course of action we take. A nuclear attack? A mall bombed? A school full of children massacred? A major political figure assassinated? All have a level of retribution or revenge to follow. I believe in hitting your enemy so hard it scares the living hell out of them, or sends them there.

yeah. but sadly.. in all my research i have just become more sceptical and suspicious... and just plain pizzed over all these anti-state and anti-Bill of rights Laws and rulings since .... oh, about 1997.... but much added to since 2001. did the people rise up when 81 people were killed in Wac o? or when sam weever and his mom were taken out? (misspelling intentional)
it's gotten to where i won't be surprised if some border crossers are found "murdered" to turn public opinion against these MM. .... i kid you not.
did you see how many said they would go to DC with Jim R to protest the last SCOTUS ruling here are FR? last i looked it was like 5 %. sad... sad. people are either apethetic or too busy trying to make a living and don't want to face it.

The caller is more concerned about the image of the US than US sovereignty.

Yep, I wonder if he had any other (more patriotic) callers on the issue?

DC with Jim R to protest the last SCOTUS....
Well, its the crowd you run with brother, lol, we all work our a$$es off to pay for the others who don't or wont. We have those who use to just talk about it now taking action, we have those (like me) who never even talked about it now talking and spreading the word, and others will follow. The Republican party progression to dominance took 40 years to come to fruition from a grass roots operation. The silent majority is still groggy after a long nap. Picture trying to turn a huge supertanker around on a dime, its almost impossible, but we have the momentum to get the job done in time. Take for example the fear of speaking your mind without being labeled a racist or bigot, etc. which was a major obstacle and is finally being exposed as only a political tool to silence the opposition and has prevented real conversation and answers. You and I live in a vital time in our history, and when we look back in time we will see it. The thing I fear is the Middle East falling swiftly to democracy while unemployment remains low and people start thinking the job is done. How they keep the momentum going without the enemy succeeding to make it happen is a tricky task.

Perhaps we're having a quiet protest while allowing the flying monkeys to strut and fret upon the stage of this board. From the looks of it, "fret" isn't exactly the right choice of word.

It's quite nice for a change! :-)

Perhaps Rush will bring up the issue again come April 1st.
