Christianity would be a cult if it said you're doomed to die if you don't believe those things.

That's why it's more properly called Muhammadanism. All Muslims are called upon to copy the life of Muhammad, which they call the most perfect life, the most worthy example for all mankind to emulate. This monkey see, monkey do, aspect is the prime problem with Muhammadanism. Because we all know what kind of life Muhammad lived. Curiously enough, many Muslims are oblivious to, uneducated about the evil that Muhammad did.
