This is astounding to me because there are tables set up in front of a lot of stores here and it's not a problem. But I live in VA so that might explain it.

Exactly! And you can blame RINO Bloomberg for this, for trying to suck every last single freggin` dime from New york city residents. I live in New York city and you wouldn`t believe the nonsense I`ve had to go through ever since this freggin` idiot was elected. The latest being my parked car being hit by another car in the middle of the night. I come out the next morning to go to work, and what should I find but the side of my car bashed in, my side view mirror laying in the street and a ticket on my windsheild for "equipment violation-no side view mirror" I kid you not.
Remember that guy a few years ago who was ticketed for sitting on a milk crate? Or how about the pregnant woman who was ticketed for sitting on the stairs while waiting for the subway? Then there was the other lady in Manhattan who was ticketed for littering because the newpaper boy threw a newspaper on her stoop. It`s never ending, this freggin` RINO constantly puts presssure on the cops to make up cash, but the freggin` unions that are sucking the city dry are left alone. "Oh so what if a high school janitor makes $230,000 in overtime! We will just give out even more tickets!"
