The Bush administration's policy of withholding aid from overseas groups that perform abortions is hurting women and forcing clinics to close, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton said Sunday.
Clinton, speaking at a New York University forum to mark the 10th anniversary of the United Nations' fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing, said 20 million women worldwide risk unsafe abortions every year, 68,000 die and many more are injured.
"Many of these deaths and these injuries can be prevented by providing women with the information and means to choose the size and spacing of their own families, and yet I regret that the government of my own country is making it more difficult for women in these situations to receive safe medical care," said Clinton, D-N.Y. "It is unfair for governments and people in developed countries who have access to the full range of reproductive and family health services to deny those to women in other countries around the world."

She couldn't continue deceiving herself any longer.
"It is unfair for governments and people in developed countries who have access to the full range of reproductive and family health services to deny those to women in other countries around the world."
But apparently it is fair to make American pro-life taxpayers to fund thier genocide?
Well stated.
lol. She's whacked. And still relying upon old "heart-tug" phrases to bs the masses.
Looks like Hillary is not content to impose abortion on America. She's going to launch a liberal jihad to impose it on the entire world.
The schitzo dums can't make up their minds. first, we should not be sticking our nose into other countries when it come to freedom. (too expense) Yet , it is our duty to use taxpayers money to fund abortions. but it pretty much fits with their philosophy that the "inferiors" don't need to be procreating.
Re: "...withholding aid from overseas groups that perform abortions is hurting women and forcing clinics to close"
Gee Hill, I hope so.
I certainly do not want to see the clinics stay open and hurting women, doesn't do the baby much good either.
Another abortion euphemism - "size and spacing."
Too bad there isn't a taxpayer LINE ITEM VETO - my tax money would NEVER go to PLANNED PARENTHOOD if I had ANY say about it!
Why not Nixon did?
She ain't the first, we have rattlesnakes in the GOP as well. I am sad to report.
"It is unfair for governments and people in developed countries who have access to the full range of reproductive and family health services to deny those to women in other countries around the world."
So we should pay for it, why? HMmmmmmmm.
Too bad Mrs. Rodham didn't get one.....
