His wife sure is a Yoko clone... she has absolutely no talent yet shares page after page alongside Crumb's genius.
And it's true that Crumb was the 'normal' one of his brothers... if you've seen "Crumb" you'll know -- his brothers were truly insane. And frightening. What a bunch of weirdos.
He was just a little too bent for me to get at the time. I had no clue he'd go on to achieve such recognition.
Ping for later reading to learn what the deal is about Crumb.
The Guardian?
I would have missed this interiew if not for your watchful eye...
Bump for later comment.
Crumb's great, so is Justin Greene, but my favorite is Charles Burns, especially his "El Borbah" series.

Those of you who think you've "seen it all" should endeavor to find a copy of Crumb's "Hy-Tone" Comix. Hysterically funny, but be forewarned, it's not for the easily offended.
A friend of mine, Brian Robertson, who now lives in Austin is a blues player and author. He wrote a book back in 96 called "Little Blues Book" and r. crumb illustrated it for him. Brian just called him up and he agreed to do it. You just never know. It's available on Amazon...
