RUMINT has suggested for a while that AQ, using some former-Soviet scientists, had been working on a genetic combination of smallpox and ebola. Smallpox is highly contagious, but only lethal in about 20-25% of cases. Ebola has a mortality rate above 90%, but lacks the ability to spread rapidly via airborne particles. Let's hope it's just that, a rumor.
