Oh, wait a second, is that a different Parkway closing?
The one I just heard about is at around exit 135. The police have a vehicle surround at gunpoint.
That can't be the Atlantic County one you just posted.
We really have to move out of this state.
I'm sure this is just another one of those "move along, nothing to see here"......stories
Man said detained after threat on plane
3/17/2005, 1:27 p.m. ET
The Associated Press
MOSCOW (AP) A passenger on a Tokyo-Moscow flight was detained after he tried to get into the plane's cockpit and threatened to blow up the airliner, the ITAR-Tass news agency reported Thursday.
The report suggested the man did not have explosives and said he likely would be examined by a psychiatrist.
As the plane approached Moscow's Sheremetyevo international airport from Tokyo, the pilot alerted controllers that a passenger tried to enter the cockpit and threatened to blow up the plane, ITAR-Tass reported, citing an unnamed airport spokesman.
Airport authorities and police could not immediately be reached for comment.
The passenger, a young man, was detained after the plane landed, and authorities were trying to determine his identity and motives, ITAR-Tass said. The spokesman said the detainee would probably undergo a psychiatric exam, ITAR-Tass said.

The one your husband is stuck in must be a different incident. The earlier one started around the Eatontown exit (105) and ended up down in Atlantic county. You're right...we've got to get out of here. LOL

new wordings for a movie that came out on the 10th of march-
Ekhlass forum posted this on the 10th, strange how the American Soldiers and now CIA in the new version ,(rolls eyes)
That should have been they ARE now CIA
The media must have been busy with Michael Jackson and Robert Blake....and now that those cases are resolved, certainly it WON'T be something as important as illegal aliens with false documents working on jet airplanes. Too much potential damage to airline stocks I reckon. Worthwhile to report only if illegals are proven to have worked on a plane that mysteriously crashes sometime in the future. Not that any of them might have fanatic patriotism toward another government of which they are citizens??? Move along sheeple.

"Something interesting about alm2sda.net"
That's interesting.
Thanks Donna.
This came from a very valid source at an airport. I don't want to say where just yet as I am waiting to hear from others I know at other airports around the country.
We should all keep on the lookout for this kind of thing. I just got back from the north side of Atlanta and I am surprised at all the uility poles with solar pannels and boxes on them that weren't there before.
E-mail I recieved follows...
there is a white box truck, parked on the grass for the last week, outside of which is a square camera [along with lights pointed up the ramp] pointed so as to record the rear end [and license plate] of every vehicle that drives up that ramp. The truck is unmarked and has cables coming from the back from a power source inside to power and control the camera and the lights. It is a large square security camera, not those small ones that are for department of transportation use that look down on the freeways...those are much smaller....
It is unoccupied in the driver cab...unknown if anyone is in the back...
Interesting..wonder who or what they are looking for??? It is NOT a local or state vehicle...and there are no signs or markers around the vehicle....it is unmarked and all white. This is HAS to be DHS or feds in my honest opinion...
It is exactly same style truck they were looking for at first in that Malvo sniper case..to give you an idea of what it looks like...but I think it is a domestic...It is too hard to slow down enough to get a better look since there is always so much traffic behind you when entering the highway...
This is not tin foil. It IS a camera and it IS aimed at the back of cars going up the entrance ramp.
Tell your "source at an airport" to REPORT IT dc.
I assume the suspicious vehicle you are referring to is at
the airport. If it is, have your "source at the airport" report
the vehicle to airport security police. If it's not at the airport,
have your "source at the airport" report the vehicle to local
law enforcement authorities.
Also tell your "source at the airport" he should consider reporting
it to:

"Azerbaijani Convict Fought Beside al-Qaida"
By Associated Press
March 17, 2005, 6:10 PM EST
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "BAKU, Azerbaijan -- The government in this tightly controlled former Soviet republic said Thursday that the leader of a group of six men convicted last month on charges of plotting terror attacks once fought alongside al-Qaida in Afghanistan.
Amiraslan Iskendrov, who was convicted in a closed trial on Feb. 7 along with five other suspects and sentenced to 14 years in prison, spent time in Afghanistan from 1999 to 2003 and fought in the ranks of Osama bin Laden's terrorist group there, the Security Ministry said in a statement.
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "After the trial, authorities did not name the men convicted, saying only that they were followers of Wahhabi Islam, bin Laden's spiritual underpinning and dominant in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
According to the Security Ministry, Iskendrov returned from Afghanistan and began recruiting mostly young people to join a militant group. It said the group was planning for terrorist attacks, including by conducting surveillance of crowded areas, the offices and homes of foreigners and government and law enforcement facilities.
In arresting the six alleged group members, authorities confiscated large amounts of explosives, detonators and grenades as well as literature and audio and videotapes containing terrorist propaganda, the statement said."

"Americans' Tax Dollars Fund the Wahhabi Lobby"
March 15, 2005
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Americans' Tax Dollars Fund the Wahhabi Lobby In a startling article today, "Federal Money Goes to Controversial Muslim Group," Sherrie Gossett reveals for Accuracy in Media that the Bush administration has sent $50,000 to the Islamic Society of North America, a leading organization in the Wahhabi lobby's American division.
Mohamed El-sanousi, director of community outreach and communications for ISNA, told Gossett his organization received grants in 2003 and 2004 from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration of the Department of Health and Human Services. The money did not save anyone from substance abuse or improve mental health, however. Instead, it went to teach other members of the Wahhabi lobby how to milk the government: "We used the grants to train Muslim community leaders in how to apply for grants to do social services," El-sanousi explained."
Taped Threats By Saudi Al Qaeda
CAIRO, Egypt, March 17, 2005
"We will make them know the meaning of terrorism."
audio tape
(AP) An audio recording appearing on an Islamic Web site Thursday claimed to represent the new al Qaeda leader in Saudi Arabia, and he promised to dispatch fighters to join the Iraqi insurgency.
It was not immediately possible to verify the authenticity of the tape, posted on an Islamic Web site run by Mohammed al-Masaari, head of a Saudi opposition group called the Committee for the Defense of Legitimate Rights in Saudi Arabia.
The tape purported to contain the voice of Saleh al-Aoofi, a fugitive who is high on Saudi Arabia's list of wanted militants. It appears to be a response to a statement posted Monday on the Internet in which Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the head of al Qaeda in Iraq, urged Saudi militants to help him, either by sending men to join the Iraqi insurgency or by fighting the Americans in Saudi Arabia.
The authenticity of that tape also could not be verified.
In Thursday's tape, the speaker identified as al-Aoofi addressed al-Zarqawi and fighters in Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
"We will not let the crusaders (Americans) stay in the land of the Prophet Muhammad (Saudi Arabia) to plan attacks against you," the speaker said.
Al-Zarqawi and his followers are held responsible for many deadly attacks against U.S. troops in Iraq and allied Iraqi security forces and army troops. The foreign fighters who have joined his group are believed to have mostly entered Iraq through Syria.
The speaker promised to send Saudi suicide bombers to join the Iraqi insurgents.
"We will send you the fighters and the martyrs whenever you need ... by God, we will make them know the meaning of terrorism," said the voice.
Al-Aoofi, a former prison guard in his late 30s, is among five militants who remain at large on the Saudi list of 26 most-wanted terror suspects. The Saudi authorities have killed and arrested many of the suspects, including the previous al Qaeda chief in Saudi Arabia Abdulaziz al-Moqrin.
