Spam is nearing 90% of all email sent globally, thanks to the US Congress legalizing it.

There are a group of rather clever scammers, who prey on the Nigerians. They host a website called
419eaters, and these individuals reply to the Nigerians. Through letters, they convince the Nigerian scammers that they have hit the motherlode; and then proceed to make fools out of them.
For example, a typical response may be
Hello
My name is Mr. U R Screwed II, and I am the president of an international lingerie company. My travels will be taking me through Nigeria, and I am looking for a contact person who lives in the area to help me move my merchandice.
As my time is very valuable, before I reschedule my meetings in Switcherland, France and Germany; I need to know that this is more than a passing interest to you. In order for me to know that you are serious; I am requesting that you send me a photo of you wearing my product.
And viola, they get this response; which is published in their "Trophy Room". The 419 eaters keep logs on who, where and how the scammers work; take steps to thoroughly humiliate the scammers; then report them to the local authorities.
Ya gotta appreciate their efforts

No, you do not want
www.419eaters.com; as that will take you to a spam site.
You want www.419eater.com (no plural on the eater); that is the 'real' website.

This one seems to be less original, but very hard to stamp out because there is no legal structure in Nigeria that provides for criminal activity prosecution - so the scam solicitations continue. No one has ever explained to me why that festering sewer of a pesthole has to have an internet connection, or any ICANN support at all.
We need some simpler way of blocking blocks of netblocks, and globally denying entire countries if we elect to do so. (Our Sites, Our Rules.)

I hope nobody goes for it. This type of emails are not stopping to flood mailboxes: I wonder if this is a new tactic? The E mails I received in the past, pretty much all said they had millions they wanted to get out of their country, and promisd me part of it.
