Man or woman, the "Lady Smith" is an excellent choice. I'd rather the .357 for the duel caliber option.

The main reason for a revolver is they're never fidgety and would fire if they have five years of dust bunnies in them. Enough dust bunnies make for a super fun muzzle flash, too!

Absolutely would suit you (S&W makes an excellent firearm despite their managerial confusion).

It is wonderfully lightweight, awesomely reliable, it's pretty and it protects you. Compare weights with the .357 snubby(s) S&W offers. You can shoot .38s out of them, too, and they're a tad more rugged.
