It was just announced that Jack Nicklson's 17 month old grandson died apparently from a drowning accident. He was being attended to by his nanny. The toddler somehow got through a locked screen door and drowned in the family hot tub.
Prayers for the entire family.
Bummer.
jack NICKLAUS is a great and decent man. May God bless him and his family with peace and strength at this tragic time.
I believe it was Jack Nicklaus--not Nicholson.
could you please correct the spelling in the title ? thanks
I think of my own 18 month old son who is now sleeping in his crib and try to imagine what they are going through. May God be with them
Condolences :-(
You are so right. Just a little upset here with news and only half a cup of coffee. Please forgive.
Although a terrible tragedy. I remember the day when parents stayed home and raised their own children.
it was jack NICKLAUS, not Nicholson
Please... for the Nicklaus family, will the admin. please change this title? Thank you. I'll never post again.
Why? This is an important story and God knows, just about everyone on this forum has made spelling errors. Even the spell check here does at times.
I wasn't criticizing your spelling at all, just suggesting the headline be changed. Thanks for posting the story.
I would definitely fire the nanny. Why was the hot tub not covered? More proof that you should not let your kids be raised by non biological sources. Parents are too concerned with money and not about raising kids. Let's just ship our kids to day care. Let's just ship our kids to public school to be raised by the liberals... Sure accidents happen even with good parents, but this society is getting worse with how children are being raised. Just plop them in front of a game cube or TV and you're golden right? Some good wholesome violent Disney movies will fix it I am sure. Do you know your children? Garbage in... Garbage out...
Fit to be tied...
this is the story in the local paper :

Praying for the family.
Don't worry about it.
Children die of drowning while being watched by their parents too. It seems blaming trumps grieving so very much.
