Mexico City, Mexico, Mar. 1 (UPI) -- With the peak season for illegal border crossings looming in the next few months, both Mexico and the United States are gearing up for thousands of inevitable confrontations between Mexicans who will attempt the treacherous journey through the Arizona desert and the American border patrol and immigration authorities on the other side.

Jihad and his lapdogs have support from above and enjoys the empowerment.

They can have all that.

They do not have the majority here on this forum or the electorate and that they have no control over.

They live for the destruction of what passes for our culture because they don't like it and resent it as mostly outsiders.

Nearly all of the FROBLs have an axe to grind....it has more to do with "white America" than it does immigration really.

Hey, let's just make it a death penalty offense to assist any person attempting to cross the border illegally. Congress could pass such a law if the wished.

Then it would be all nice and legal.

Any 'coyote' caught trafficing in human beings would be subject to a 30 year stretch in a Federal Penitentiary for the first offense. A second offense would subject them to Capital Punishment. Any person caught conspiring with the 'coyote' to break the law would be subject to the same penalties. That would include anyone paying the 'coyote'.

We simply 'upgrade' from the 'administrative offense' to an actual criminal offense. Hell, Congress already approved the Death Penalty for 'kingpins' bringing some powder across the border, so why not do it for actual slave traders? That would slow things down.

Once Congress upgrades from these merely bothersome 'administrative offenses' (BTW, there's no such thing as an 'administrative offense' they're all criminal offenses they're just tried in different Courts) to actual Felony offenses, then we can quite legally string these modern day flesh traders up for all to see.

You've really come full circle CJ. I never, ever thought I would live to see the day that you would be defending slave traders. It's quite a thing to see. You have no problem with the monsters who extort money from poor helpless Mexicans so they can aid and abet them in breaking US law by coming across our borders illegally.

I guess it's OK with you that those poor, ignorant, helpless souls are packed into semi trailers, rail cars, pick-up trucks, or whatever they can find by scumbags who don't care if they live or die during the crossing. Aren't you the chick who advocated life in prison for people smoking joints? Does it not bother you at all that dozens of these people attempting to cross our borders illegally die every year? Don't you think they should follow the legally established procedures to enter America?

When exactly did you become an 'open borders' Libertarian? I haven't been around much, as I've been recovering from some surgery for a bit, but it seems that I've awakened in some alternate universe where you defend people who brazenly violate Federal law.

Well, I guess we just put our dear lady friend CJ down as favoring the continuation of the flesh trade. You would have been quite at home in the South circa 1855.

Regards,

L

In the HBO series Deadwood last year which I am now renting, there is the scene where Hickock played by Keith Carradine describes in detail to Jack McCall's face...the sniveling whiner who later shoots him in the back....that he has a mouth that when he runs it ...it reminds him of a certain metaphor or analogy.....a very vulgar but apt comparison using provacative terms more commonly used in those days.

I feel that same metaphor however archaic is appropriate for when the FROBLs get on their high horse flapping their self percieved morally superior pieholes. A little crew of Jack McCalls flapping in unison the same old bait ....just flapping...preening for notice.

Seeing that some borderito yahoos are today sitting in a Federal pen to think about their felonious assaults against peaceful administrative misdemeanors, perhaps 2nd Amendment supporters should make sure the immigrants are armed to protect their universal inalienable rights.

That's the finest example of a BS sentence I've ever read - that is, outside of Democratic Underground. You could be a leader over there.

Mexico is a third world outlaw nation, American politicians would like to still get the freebies in their bank accounts from Mexico and let the same old thing continue.

The difference is that now this is national, there is no turning back, this will become a volcano of problems unless they do raids to remove lots of illegals, try to avoid making illegals at home in our schools, hospitals and Mexico needs to be charged for their people in our prisons.

Here in California, a third of all violent offenders, murders are ILLEGALS. That is 50% more violence brought to California than it had if they weren't here illegally.

I think the gangs in inner cities will start having their way with illegals, then it might spread out to some ignorant ones at the border.

Lastly, they could force a Constitutional Amendment against both education, and against giving any birth certificates from the United States.

Oh boy...I'm afraid to even look.

I've gotten myself sidetracked in the Terri Schiavo debate.
Lemme tell ya... those make these immigration threads look downright tame! ; )

(not even gonna ask about the "certain metaphor or analogy" lol)

peak season for illegal border crossings looming

What, instead of 30,000 a month it goes to 50,000? Time to set up the refreshment stands, pass out the route maps and survival tips.

Wow, what an idea! A job an American will do that an illegal alien will not do. Stand in the Arizona desert with a hot dog cart and refreshment stand.

Wow. Awesome post.

I have always felt nothing but pity for the people who are coming over here themselves. I would probably do the same thing.

I wish they'd channel that energy into reforming their own country, but between our gov't and theirs encouraging and enabling them, that isn't going to happen.

With our American men and women today dying for and with Muslim men and women in our common fight against terror, I stand proudly with our President in his goal of bringing freedom and liberty to all Muslims in the troubled area. You may choose to stand with the hopeless DNC in lambasting the supposed Untermenschen Muslims and Muslim culture.

Hold yer horses... where'd you get the idea I thought the law was "unjust"? I just wish they'd enforce it.

Doesn't mean I can't have pity for those who come over here to escape the hellhole over there. Some of them really do just want a good life for their families, and actually work damned hard to achieve it.

Best way to bring "freedom and liberty to all Muslims" would be to "deprogram" them from their anti-freedom and liberty religion.
