BAGHDAD, Iraq Mar 1, 2005 More than 2,000 people demonstrated Tuesday at the site of a car bombing south of Baghdad that killed 125 people, chanting "No to terrorism!"
An Internet statement purportedly by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's al-Qaida in Iraq group claimed responsibility the bombing.
A French journalist abducted nearly two months ago, meanwhile, pleaded for help in a video that surfaced Tuesday, saying she was in failing health.

Did you see the picture with the large pool of blood? These characters should be executed on the spot when they find them.
What?! You mean ABC couldn't find a person blaming this on the U.S.?
HURRY UP and take Syria. It's the only way this will stop!
This is a magnificent turn of events after a tragedy. The terrorist can longer pretend they are looking out for the best interests of Muslims.
Nice try at being a multi-post cop, but the articles are different.
It's time for the Iraqi people to stop the terrorists living in their neighborhood.
I thought the Iraqi people would rather live in terror than freedom.... oh what a revelation!
The bombers are like our "Minutemen," so says the Left...
ABC reported this? Hell must be freezing over...
She released her statement from a Paris hospital. /sarcasm
Yeah, I've heard that before...the parallels between the Iraqi insurgency and the American Revolution are striking, if you know your history. Almost too close for comfort. Hundreds of muscular young lads were strapping 100-lb kegs of gunpowder to their backs and blowing themselves up in crowded New England marketplaces and courthouses. Washington and Lafayette's goons were kidnapping English and American bureaucrats left and right and sawing their heads off with open praise to God. Anthony Wayne and Ethan Allen marauded through the countryside, burning farms and forests, sealing off mines and quarries, and in general destroying every bit of the country's infrastructure that they could. And of course, anybody who didn't openly approve of such activities was liable to being shot in the street by the democracy-hating Sons of Liberty. Brilliant. ;)
I love ABC's non biased journalism. 1st paragraph states the fact "thousadns protest". The next *15* deal with the hostage. Then we get back to the bombing for 3 more paragraphs before we finally wind up back at the headline. That is *18* paragraphs between the headline and the actual news.
Why is it that I feel as if there were 2000 protestors chanting "US GO HOME" there would have been no other mention of anything else for at least 3 pages, there would have been interview after interview with on the scene reporters etc...
I am not going to hold my breath.
they need our help and we are going to give it to them.
This is very encouraging.
What would really be nice to see is terrorist found, bound, gagged, and posted with signs describing their deed, in front of Iraqi police stations. That would be really nice.
The Iraqi populace needs some sheepdogs.
Top sends
Doing away with Syria will solve a lot of the problems in the whole Middle East!!!!!!!
The northern blue states did get a lot of snow....
"The Arab Street"
but not qute the result the anti-war left was hoping for.
BUMP
