So, now all the gang bangers will use teenagers to commit the murders. Okay Supreme Court -- you will reap what you sow.

Doubt it, since I'm pretty sure you can get the death penalty for hiring people to kill, and is actually an aggravating circumstance in most states.

You are correct. This will be the direct result of this decision. All gang murders will now be done by those under 18, with the most they can be punished is a few years in jail.

You nailed it. How many murders will now be committed by those under 18?

Don't statistics tend to show that the death penalty doesn't actually deter crime? I thought it was more for the families of victims.

Perhaps, perhaps not. When we read about young Islamofacist killers gunning down Justices near the Supreme Court perhaps they might change their views. Perhaps, perhaps not. Nada por nada.

I'm afraid that WE will reap what they sow.

I do have a question as to just why this isn't a state's right issue. Many states have different laws regarding the death penalty and I don't see how the U.S. Supreme Court is absorbing the duties of the states Supreme Court.
