This really stinks. Anyone that is 17 years 364 days days old can murder and get off without facing the full consequence of their actions. How is it that someone 17 years 364 days of age is protected? Why 18?

Why 18 for anything else? What difference is there between a 18 year old guy having "relations" with a 17 and 364 old girl, and an 18 year old girl? One is statutory rape.

Sends the wrong message to under 18 YO's: "Murder now if you're so inclined."

So because there is no death penalty, there is no penalty at all? Huh?

SCOTUS went overbounds here.

You just support them now because you agree with their decision, but this is Judicial Activism.

Huh? I never said there should be NO death penalty. And I thought it was pretty obvious. I am PRO DEATH PENALTY. You do the CRIME (murder), you pay the price (the death penalty).

And because of the seriousness of the crime of MURDER, I'm not inclined to really have an age restriction whatsoever. Yeah, if you're old enough to murder someone, and you know that murder is wrong, then you're old enough to face the consequences.
