TAMPA, Fla. - Terri Schiavo's parents asked a Pinellas court judge Monday to allow her to divorce her husband - in either life or death - in a court filing accusing Michael Schiavo of adultery and not acting in his wife's best interests.
The filing was one of a flurry of 15 motions filed by Bob and Mary Schindler as they now have less than three weeks to find a legal way to keep their severely brain-damaged daughter alive.
Terri Schiavo is scheduled to have the feeding tube that has kept her alive for 15 years removed March 18 unless her parents can convince an appeals court to block Michael Schiavo again. Michael Schiavo says he will have the tube pulled because his wife once told him she would never want to be kept alive artificially.
David Gibbs, the Schindler's attorney, said Pinellas Circuit Court Judge George Greer has indicated he will not hear the divorce request and five other motions filed Monday - but that only means that the matters are now on their way to being appealed to the 2nd District Court of Appeal in Lakeland........

A liitle birdie told me that Michael was adulterating on Terri even before her collapse and that there is proof of this in the form of child support.
The feast of Purim and Good Friday are the same day this year? Wow! Is it this way every year? I never noticed.
God bringing together His flock!
Let's review:
Michael schiavo has said that Terri responded to a film about a disabled woman by saying she'd never want to live that way. His whole "pull the tube" case rests on this being a real conversation, and on said conversation meaning that she would prefer to be starved to death.
So...when someone says, "All we need is to have one of Terri's friends testify she said X while they were watching a movie," do you think they're advocating perjury or being sarcastic?
Here's a link that could help you find what you're looking for.

On Hardball the other night, Terri's dad stated that they have free medical care and donated funds lined up. I am not sure how much money MS has left, but there is plenty of money for therapy if he'll just let her go home with her family.
Doesn't Greer seem to feel that he is Terri's 'other' guardian? He can make this request himself, and then agree to it, the same way he has been doing for Terri all these years.
Greer seems to think he is Terri's court-appointed guardian ad-litem. Couldn't he petition the court (himself petition himself) to grant Terri a divorce? I know that doesn't sound right, but he's gotten away with acting as her GAL so far.
Yes, but bulimia isn't the only thing that can cause a potassium imbalance.
The forces of death are crawling all over this site lately.
Michael gets after the fact approval by Greer of his guardianship plans. Sometimes even four years late! Nothing like a little planning to show how good your intentions are. They don't matter when you've got a judge who doesn't care about deadlines either. Must be why Greer failed to file on time to appear on the ballot for reelection. Those darn pesky rules of law!

I think you're confusing the words "perjury" and "heresay".
Prayers for Terri!
oops!
heresay=hearsay.
Need more java........
Then that little birdie better sing, quick, because time is running short.
What is wrong with Greer? Why does he continue to allow Michael to be Terri's guardian, when he's blatantly neglecting her?
When did that change? The church allowed an annulment in my marriage, against my will, and we didn't have a civil divorce. This was in the late 70s, early 80s.
One has to have a great imagination to think that, after all this time, Terri's will is to die. As you said, she us SHOWN us HER WILL: She wants to LIVE.
Well said, again, pajamas! : )
I won't because I wouldnt' realize it or feel any pain from it. A Dr. explained it on the news...her sensation for hunger does not exist...and she would be given more drugs for any pain she might be experiencing as with anyother patient. This is so cruel in my opinion to keep this woman alive without a shred of dignity (probably against her will) if she were able to think, and on the backs of taxpayers. I think it's horrible.
A judge can rule himself a gaurdian to a party? Can you give me a kink to this?
How can a person's gaurdian be impartial, or be a judge in cases involving a person under his gaurdianship?
