TAMPA, Fla. - Terri Schiavo's parents asked a Pinellas court judge Monday to allow her to divorce her husband - in either life or death - in a court filing accusing Michael Schiavo of adultery and not acting in his wife's best interests.
The filing was one of a flurry of 15 motions filed by Bob and Mary Schindler as they now have less than three weeks to find a legal way to keep their severely brain-damaged daughter alive.
Terri Schiavo is scheduled to have the feeding tube that has kept her alive for 15 years removed March 18 unless her parents can convince an appeals court to block Michael Schiavo again. Michael Schiavo says he will have the tube pulled because his wife once told him she would never want to be kept alive artificially.
David Gibbs, the Schindler's attorney, said Pinellas Circuit Court Judge George Greer has indicated he will not hear the divorce request and five other motions filed Monday - but that only means that the matters are now on their way to being appealed to the 2nd District Court of Appeal in Lakeland........

I'm a woman and if my husband was shacking up with another woman and had two children with her, I would have divorced him as soon as this happened. Terri cannot speak for herself right now, so I will. Give Terri a divorce immediately. Let her parents take care of Terri and get some rehabilitation as soon as possible And hold Greer and Schiavo accountable for their weird actions. Something is terribly wrong here. I think I have read that Judge Greer is legally blind. What's up with this? Does Judge Greer really know what's going on?
I have kids too, and I would do the same for them.
But, this is not the same with the husband and parents.
The parents have not had to lie or do anything to try to save their child.
The husband is the main person who has everything to gain along with the nazi-lawyer Felos who will most-likely write a book about this.
The basic premise here is this: This case is riddled with contridiction that is resulting in criminal persecution of Terri.
Terri's family and witnesses on her side have not changed word one in their testimony.
HINO has changed REPEATEDLY over and over to suit the need to get rid of her.

He's admitted on national television to 'pulling the feeding tubes' on both his parents. I wish I had more information about the father's, because I think that was post-Felos and I have a vague recollection that Michael's father didn't like what Michael was trying to do to Terri (the father died in 2001 IIRC).
Michael filed a medical-malpractice lawsuit, during which he said he would care for her for the rest of her life, which, assuming proper care, would be a normal lifespan. He also presented at trial a medical-rehabilitation expert who had developed a plan to provide support for Terri to maximize her ability to respond to her environment.
A jury awarded $1.3 million in the malpractice case, of which $750,000 was put in trust to pay for the kind of care that Michael promised to provide Terri.
Michael never kept his promise.
Within months of the money being deposited in the bank, Michael ordered a do-not-resuscitate order placed on Terri's chart. He has also repeatedly denied her other forms of medical care, such as treatment for infections.
Once the money was in the bank, according to affidavits filed by nurses under penalty of perjury, Michael ordered that Terri be denied stimulation.
In the mid 1990s, according to another nurse's affidavit filed under penalty of perjury, Michael was overheard saying things such as, "When is she going to die," "Has she died yet?" and "When is that bitch going to die?"
That is typical. Anyone who is not completely in your fold is corrupt or immoral.
When weighing the hearsay we all know which way Greer is going to rule. What a joker except not funny.

There is no common law marriage in FL -- in TX, there is, but not in FL. But FL judges permit adultery by a spouse in a "loving" relationship.
Don't waste your time with the site pest.The $1.2 million was because, as sociopath Michael claimed to the gullible jury, Terry was going to live a long, long life if he had anything to do with. Basically days after the award was received he inssued a DNR and began to violate all the promises he gave to the moron jury.
I see. It would seem the reasons for Terri desiring divorce would greatly have increased since 1990.
It's irrelevant in that the evidence proves that he is responsible for the "incident" which occurred and subsequent later denial of rehab for her to be able to get better and to have her own voice which could only be for one purpose.. a scheme to make her dead because of his responsibility for the original "incident" and also to try to get away with making a ton of dough. Get it now?
Perhaps someone needs to somehow get a non-Greer judge to find the following facts:
