I've seen this video however someone told me a gattling gun is never used on an Apache...do you know anything about that?

The 30mm gun used on the Apache is a single-barrel chain gun, rather than the multibarrel rotary Gatling. But as both are mechanically or power-operated weapons rather than being dependent on the gas generated by their firing, both weapons systems are similar, close cousins if not brothers.

So amazing that a weapon debuted in the Civil War could have grown into such a monster. Especially as it was laid aside in favor of gas powered water cooled machine guns by the First World War.
