Terri was in perfect health. She never had any broken bones before her marriage either but a bone scan in '91 shows quite a few breaks in various stages of healing.
Dr Hammesfahr, a neurologist who examined Terri for a total of 10 hours has stated :"The patient's exam from a spinal perspective is abnormal. The degree of limitation of range of motion, and of spasms in her neck, is consistent with a neck injury."
snip
"Interestingly, I have seen this pattern of mixed brain (cerebral) and spinal cord findings in a patient once before, a patient who was asphyxiated (strangled)."
Dr Hammesfahr was also nominated for a Nobel Prize so he's not some amateur. :)
TEJ should get a Pulitzer Prize for their coverage of Terri's fight.
Go there if you want to see just how thick as thieves Pinellas Cty Judges and public officials are. IT IS INCESTUOUS. That's our tax dollars at work.
I'm not the best one to answer this, but here goes: there was a couple million Michael won in a medical malpractice suit, but we don't know how much of that is left after he has used much of it to pay lawyers to kill Terri. He had pledged to rehab Terri with that money, but he has gone back on his word to the court at that time. He does seem to be living rather high right now; there may be an insurance policy involved but I think our efforts to find out haven't succeeded yet; if Terri dies, he would get whatever her estate is, as her "next of kin", ha ha; some have said he wil write a book, do interviews, etc. and make hundreds of thousands or more from that, and he can only pursue those avenues after Terri is successfully euthanize. If anyone else wants to weigh in on this...
But remember, his biggest profit might not be money, but having her dead where she can never get better and tell what she knows of what he did to her that night.
I don't know if anyone anwered your questions, but here is a short summary.
She may or may not have bulimia. She supposedly weighed about 115 pounds and was 5 ft 3 in. Sounds pretty normal to me. Evidently, no doctor had diagnosed her as having an eating disorder.
She didn't tell her parents, but she did tell her brother and her friends that she wanted to divorce her husband.
On the night she collapsed, she had been out with a girlfriend. The girlfriend thought she should not go home. Terri thought it would be ok and she would pretend to be asleep. Late that night after the husband came home, he called Terri's Dad and told him she had collapsed. I believe he told him that he thought she wasn't breathing. The Dad had to tell him to call 911. Michael had not called the paramedics. Her brother Bobby lived in the same apartment complex and rushed over. He said he found Michael sitting on the couch and Terri collapsed on the floor. Michael evidently did not try to perform CPR, although he knew how to.
A bone scan was conducted about a year after she was in her condition. Evidently, she had a lot of pain. It turned out she had multiple broken bones all over her body that her parents didn't know anything about. They did not even find out about the bone scan until years later. Michael would not let them see the medical records.
