Jesus Himself got angry when they were dishonoring the Temple. He turned their tables upside down. There is a time. The time is Now.

One-on-one with Fl Senate President Tom Lee

Monday, March 7, 2005

Next to the governor, Senate President Tom Lee is considered the most powerful politician in Tallahassee.

Lee will be in the spotlight Tuesday morning when the legislative session gets underway.

The following is a transcript of an interview Bay News 9's Al Ruechel conducted with the Brandon developer and family man.

AR: How do you view your role as Senate president, more as a gate keeper or a facilitator?

Tom Lee: Definitely as a facilitator. Real leaders are servants. Power is an illusion and I'm not interested in that. I manage a body of some 300 employees and other elected officials. It's my job to make them look good and the state of Florida look good. I'm not interested in building any monuments to myself. It's not all about me. It's all about them.

AR: How did you get nominated to the post of president of the Senate. It takes a lot of political positioning to get that nomination, doesn't it?

Tom Lee: It took a lot of hard work. I was honored that my colleagues thought enough of me to nominate me to the position. I think again it was because I've had that role of servant in mind and have acted that way and didn't make it all about me.

AR: Will you be advising lawmakers to pass legislation on behalf of Terri Schiavo?

Tom Lee: I suspect there will be several bills that try to address that issue. I advise them not to make any legislation that is so specific, but rather address a body of issues that may be similar to the kind of issues that were brought up in the Terri Schiavo case.

I agree

He hasn't ruled on the letting Terri be given real food yet- because he's busy looking to find a law or case reference to allow him to deny it....

He will be VERY creative- NO DOUBT!

Amen Pepper. Just as in Noah's day - they partied until the flood came and took them all away. Noah, had been warning them for decades. They called him crazy. Why was this crazy man building a boat in the middle of the desert? He tried to tell them. They laughed him off until he and his family and two of each animal were in the ark, and then the flood came and took them all away.!!

Snapper, you are exactly right. This about getting rid of the Useless Eaters, and that could include all of us.

This is pure evil and alot of us realize that. I agree with many people like Keyes, who said today, on the radio, that Jeb Bush could do something already. He is the head of the state. I think his heart is right, but he needs to act.

We should all pray for Gov Jeb Bush to do the right thing. The DCF needs to remove Terri from the Hospice. How many detailed charges of abuse do those people need, to actually do something. This is insane.

Sadly, I agree with you Canadian!! Some call us crazy for realizing the truth. In reality, I wish we were crazy, but we are NOT. This is from hell. Those Republicans are RINO's. People need to not only listen to a politicans words, but also watch what he does.

God must be weeping over the evil in Florida. It's pure corruption.

Judge Greer allowed Terri's family to take photos of her before she dies of starvation / dehydration.

Greer denied the petition to allow the media to visit Terri. He also denied the petition allowing the family to bury their daughter in Florida. Michael Schiavo has a court order signed by Greer to have Terri's body cremated immediately upon her death with no Christian funeral or burial.

I agree Pepper. Jeb Bush is obsfucating. Acting as if he's desperately trying to find "a way" to help Terri. Give me a break. Alan Keyes is right. He detailed the things Jeb could do recently. It was incredible. There are about 6 or 7 ways he could take CONTROL RIGHT NOW. Terri Schiavo should not spend even ONE more day locked up like a prisoner.

David Gibbs III, right, attorney for the Schindler family, presents Pinellas County Circuit Judge Geroge Greer with motions during a hearing on Terri Schiavo Monday, March 7, 2005, in Clearwater, Fla.

Note: Judge Greer is legally blind. He will have a difficult time reading the motions.

I do have a problem with this post. I never believe God is vindictive in any way, God grants us free will. Nature is as free will as it gets.

I sent this message to Matt Drudge. Maybe he needs to be FReeped:

"What is happening to Terri Schiavo could happen to you and me, Drudge. If the Florida judicial system gets away with killing Terri by gruesome dehydration & starvation, it can happen to sick or disabled persons throughout the country.

Please consider having Alan Keyes,or Pat Buchanan as a guest on your show to discuss Terri Schiavo.

If a man sued a doctor in a court of law for malpractice that SUPPOSEDLY made his wife disabled, and received $1.7 million, because he said he was going to take care of her for the rest of his life, and then after receiving the $1.7 million, finally "REMEMBERED" that she told him she would not want to live like that, shouldn't we smell a rat?

From CNSNews.com: Conversely, Iyer (Terri's nurse) said that when she would have to call Schiavo to inform him of a downturn in Terri's condition, Schiavo would be elated.

"Michael would be visibly excited, thrilled even, hoping that she would die," Iyer recalled. "He would blurt out, 'I'm going to be rich,' and would talk about all the things he would buy when Terri died, which included a new car, a new boat and going to Europe, among other things."

Not exactly.

It was the Republicans who initially pitched legal abortion, the culling of the unproductive and the breeding of superior humans in 1970.

When you've got a President who -- quoting from his Favorite Philosopher -- proceeds to distinguish between "potential people" and those embryos suitable for scientific research, it's not such a great leap to start pruning the other end of the spectrum with your "quality of life" shears.

That's the really crazy thing, Canadian Outrage. Most Americans don't know -- or, worse, just don't care to know -- the truth about Republicans as memorialized in the Congressional Record (GOP "Earth Resources & Task Force Report" of 1970) and documents such as NSSM-200 (by Kissinger in 1974).

They are the deathists who gave the Dems their talking points on "environmentalism," the "economic discrimination" of letting states outlaw abortion and the need for $3,800,000 1970 dollars to "educate" the public to birth control. They even discovered the "right" to predetermine the sex of one's children!

The truth is staring most folks in the face. If only they'd better placed their Faith, I'll bet they could handle it. Once you get over the initial shock and sickening realization that you and most of the folks you admired and loved have all been suckered your entire life, it's almost a relief.

Things finally make sense.

IF Greer has denied all the motions even including how and where she'll be buried, I highly doubt he's going to let someone feed her. THIS WICKED MAN HAS MADE HIS DECISIONS. I only hope that JEB BUSH steps in. I frankly don't know WHY he hasn't.
