WASHINGTON (AP) -- Sen. Joseph Biden says any Democrat who wants to run for president in 2008 should keep in mind these three words: Hillary Rodham Clinton.
"I think she'd be incredibly difficult to beat," the Delaware Democrat said Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press." "I think she is the most difficult obstacle for anyone being the nominee."
The former first lady and Democratic senator from New York insists that she plans to run for re-election in 2006. But speculation persists that she might run for president in 2008.
"She is likely to be the nominee," Biden said. "She'd be the toughest person and I think Hillary Clinton is able to be elected president of the United States."
Biden said he is thinking about running again, 20 years after his first failed bid for the White House because "there's a lot at stake."
Thats exactly what I was thinking. We just can't underestimate her.
I would not mind voting for Condi but who knows if she wants to run. I just get this feeling that she won't.
Man, how screwed would we be, think about it....hill and bill are one and the same, bill the head of UN and her the president you could say good bye to America then...
Wow talk about Deja Vu!
Is Condi pro-life? Pro RKBA? Do we have summary of policy positions for Condi?
I think she's trying to scare off the competition way ahead of time. What I can't figure is how she could think all this publicity would help her in a re-election bid to the Senate. Which makes me wonder if she isn't going to run. If she decides not to, bet she waits til the last minute to announce. Screwing over her party. Again. I could see Pubbies gaining the seat, too.
Wouldn't that be a horror! But it could happen. He could easily be head of the U.N. if Koffee Kake resigns. And if we are not careful and do not get a Republican candidate with Star power to run against Hillary - she might just win.
...that was their plan all along...
UN
USA
Yes, they do. They believe they are entitled to. Must not happen.
I wish I knew but she's never run for a political office so we won't know where she stands until she decides to run.
exactly. this is why we need to build up ammo on her as well as to find someone who can carry the banner forward.
Well its got to be stuff that happened during her Senate run. If its any stuff that happened during the Clinton Presidency it will backfire on us BIG TIME! The American public is very sympathetic towards Hillary when it comes to that and does not want to hear about that. Sickening as that sounds - it's the truth!
I honestly believe that many people here would rather see Hillary be president, then elect a so-called RINO.
...
No they wouldn't. We're just not going to slide Left with RINOs and the Party anymore if the Grand Old Partay chooses that path. If those are the two choices, Hitlery and a GOP facsimile, then, yes. Bye bye GOP hello 3rd Party. Bank on it.
Idle speculation. The primaries don't start for another 3 years. But I guess the speculation makes for good conversation.
I read this stuff and find it bizarre. I guess I'm out of the mainstream thinking on this. Hillary has not done anything. She's a lightweight Senator elected on the coattails of a former President. I just don't see the dems going with her. I think they will go with a governor. But then what do I know?
;)
You have no clue how people that do not want RINO for President think!!!!!!!!
LLLLOL!!
Which makes her the perfect stealth Communist candidate in the mind of a RAT...she's running, she'll be the nominee and the GOP had better get their cr@p together.
NO BILL at the UN
NO HILL at the WH
