Good morning, Alas.

It’s unusual to be watching for you this early. The usual suspects. Not a great lineup.

Thanks for the heads-up.

McCain, Biden, Jimmuh Carter's NSA... Alas, you've saved my Sunday morning. Think I'll take the dog for a long walk.

My opinion: These programs will be a complete waste of time.

Even Fox may get a pass this morning. I pray that the Pope does okay, but he is in his 80's. I am tired of getting updates every 10 minutes.

That said, thanks as always, AB.

Well, it looks like most of the regulars are getting face time.

[Can't the media find any new faces? Nearly everything these same-o's will say is predictable.]

Still no Howard Dean???

Is he in an undisclosed location, LOL?

Does it take this long to prep him and get him ready to "meet the press?"

Always look forward to this forum. Thank you so much. I have a question that is unrelated ot the morning talk shows but I did not know how go go about asking it on this forum. I do think that someone here will know the answer. Last week, Rush L's replacement interviewed a gentleman who talked about a book written by a conservative thinker in 1964. It layed out the deep differences between the left and the right and included a simple test based on rating for values "LIBERTY, FREEDOM, JUSTICE, PEACE" that discriminated between concervatives, libertarians and liberals with a high degree of accuracy. I would be very, very, very, very, grateful if someone could e-mail me the title of the book and the name of the author.

Thanks, Alas!

This thread is one of the two highlights of my Sunday, and this week it's more valuable than usual. The "guests" and "round table commentators" are so awful today that I'll pass entirely on watching any if them on TV, and read this thread only.

Luke warm McCain "don't want to second guess the President" regarding objections to Russia selling nuclear fuel to Iran.

BUT!!!

Doesn't want to support the use of the "nuclear option" for overcoming liberal obstruction of judicial nominees.

"We did hold up some democrat nominations...."

As if there is ANY comparison regarding Appellate court nominees.

Was it me or were the talking heads hinting that Bush was too nice on his trip? I wonder if GW does this stuff on purpose to get the foolish media to do what he wants. Last term he was the go-it-alone cowboy with "draconian" diplomacy (which worked quite well in retrospect) and now that he makes nice to all the socialists he is going to be beaten up for being too nice. In basketball many games are lost because a team developes a 20 point lead and then changes its tactics and loses the game. GW would do well to stick to his guns and keep calling the ducks ducks. As Ronald Reagan once said, "Don't be afraid to see what you see".
