10-4 !!! They are nothing BUT parasites (with democrat party alegiances).

I recall when Mason-Dixon truck lines warned the union not to strike because the buisness climate and their financial condition was such that they could not with stand it. A driver for them told me, "The company is lying, they have plenty of money." (which is what his union leaches were telling him).

They went on strike...six weeks later Mason-Dixon went under...they ALL lost their jobs...I saw that driver about six months later working for a small line. He said, "I had no idea people worked this hard for this little money".

I replied, "You should have counted your blessings instead of listing to UNION THUGS".

Same thing happened in our little town. We had a rubber plant that had withstood strike after strike. They told the union if they had another strike they would have to close because they could not afford it. The union did not believe them and had another strike. The company was forced to close. It was our town's biggest employer.

The very sick Rock Island railroad got hammered by a Brotherhood of Railway and Airline Clerks strike in the Fall of 1979, and the United Transportation Union walked out in support; Jimmy Carter ordered everyone back to work for 60 days to work things out, but Fred Kroll - then president of the BRAC - decided to play tough guy. Unfortunately, some creditors wanted their slice of the pie at the same time, and the strike gave them an opening. By the following March, The Rock was floating belly-up in the bowl.

If you lived in Iowa, the disappearance of the CRI&P was something that just couldn't happen- but there it was (or rather, wasn't). Other roads gleefully took the healthier parts, the rest went begging, and almost a century-and-a-quarter of railroading (such as it was) basically vanished... along with the jobs. I believe Fred Kroll kept his job, though.
