It's bad enough that we spend so much of our time spewing hatred towards one another over politics, the one thing we all used to agree to hate together. The least we can do is get the terminology right for heavens sake.
I recently heard a young college moron [A person of mild mental retardation having a mental age of from 7 to 12 years and generally having communication and social skills enabling some degree of academic or vocational education. The term belongs to a classification system no longer in use and is now considered offensive, but accurate.] refer to our President as a Nazi, [Of, relating to, controlled by, or typical of the National Socialist German Workers' Party.]
I thought to myself, I wonder if this young fool [One who is deficient in judgment, sense, or understanding] even knows what a Nazi is? Then I heard him use the term fascist [A reactionary or dictatorial person, an authoritarian political movement like Fascism, founded in 1919 by Benito Mussolini] regarding our President and it was then that I realized, this punk [Of poor quality; worthless, a young person, especially a member of a rebellious counterculture group, an inexperienced young man.] had no idea what the hell he was talking about.
But it's not his fault exactly.
I have heard some of our nation's leaders say similar things. I'm sure he picked it up from them, not to mention a few old pot head [marijuana smoking, drug addict, useless individual] draft dodgers [cowards who ran from responsibility] turned college professor [puffed up windbag on the perpetual road to enlightenment]. . . . .

Good.
I wonder if they will move their lips as they read this at DU. LOL I mean if they read this at DU. :-)
(of a favorable character or tendency...)
That, being the only way one can think.
Well, what else could he expect from a democrat? [Useless tool, outmoded, ranking below the enema bag in relevence and I.Q.]
"All Nazis are Socialists"
To make the t-shirt "flow", shouldn't that last line read "All Socialists are Nazis"?
Priceless!
You think Nazis were socialists?
Tammy Bruce gave a lecture a few weeks ago at a college that was televised on C-Span. During it there were the inevitalbe idiots yelling "Fascists!" so she stopped her speech and asked "Can anyone tell me who first started fascism?" Dead silence. She had to ask about 4 times and chided them for being a room full of poly-sci students who thought themselves brilliant. Finally someone did come up with the right answer.
"I wonder if they will move their lips as they read this at DU. LOL I mean if they read this at DU. :-)"
See Spot Run
I enjoyed that.
I saw part of that. She was brilliant.
That was a hoot. I'm glad someone else saw it. Also, there is a WWII film in which the Nazi guard tries to convince Americans to join them with the propaganda that Communists are one type of evil while Capitalists are another and the only good are the Nazis with their "third party way" . Exactly the kind of propaganda that Democrats love.
It makes sense, but it would be a mistake to confuse Nazism with socialism. It was a weird hodge-podge of nationalistic, racial and philosophical tenets that appealed to the uneducated and those wishing to control the uneducated while fighting the threat of communism (the cure was just as bad as the disease). Goodle "Nazi philosophy" or "National Socialism Nazis" and look at the dictionary definitions that come up and you'll see a weird stew of ideas and concepts, including fascist doctrine.
