I think it begins with realizing THAT WE ALL FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD, I ALSO LIKE THE ONE ABOUT THOSE WITHOUT SIN CASTING THE FIRST STONE. Just my thoughts.

Mr. Robinson, the choice of the diocese of New Hampshire erred in attempting to elevate him to Bishop. This error will soon be rectified, I'd wager.

While Henry VIII didn't "start" the Anglican church, it is somewhat misleading to say that he had nothing to do with the Anglican church. The following quote is from the site referenced below:

Martin Luther's famous 95 Theses were nailed to the door of the church in Wittenburg in 1517, and news of this challenge had certainly reached England when, 20 years later, the Anglican branch of the church formally challenged the authority of Rome. Henry VIII dissolved the monasteries and abbeys in 1536.
"There is a public perception, especially in the United States, that Henry VIII created the Anglican church in anger over the Pope's refusal to grant his divorce, but the historical record indicates that Henry spent most of his reign challenging the authority of Rome, and that the divorce issue was just one of a series of acts that collectively split the English church from the Roman church in much the same way that the Orthodox church had split off five hundred years before."

I presume the motif for the chasuble Robinson is wearing is supposed to represent the fire of the Holy Spirit? If so, I daresay it more likely represents the fires of hell this man is flirting with.
After reading the article, I see that it is the typical Anglican "fudge". Forcing the Episcopal Church and the Canadian Church to withdraw from the Consultative Council is tantamount to being asked to leave a committee meeting. The ACC has no authority to bind or loose anything as it relates to what a national member church does or does not do. The Episcopal Church and the Canadian Anglican church have both violated the teachings of the Bible and thumbed their collective noses (among other appendages) at traditional, orthodox Christians everywhere.
Like so many, you misunderstand the second reference; it does not mean that no one should judge unless it is taken out of context.
The "old wife's tale" (sic) as you call it, is that Henry VIII formed the Anglican Church because the Catholic Church refused to grant him a divorce. I agree that that is a sort of a myth. However it is more than a little absurd to suggest that Henry VIII had nothing to do with the formation of Church of England. Every history of the Anglican Church that you will find mentions Henry VIII quite prominently.

No I totally understand it in context.....we are to judge sin, as believers. I don't think in the short amount of space given in any post, that you or anyone else can understand what one person believes based upon one or two sentences. I do not "use" text to slam people, I use it for reproof and instruction. Please be careful of admonishing me based upon my post which was addressing another persons post....which I am wondering if you read the post I was actually addressing.
