I am not Catholic, but Protestant churches also have communion. To mock the solemn ceremony is a low thing. It shows a lack of class and disdain for religion in general. Every faith should be appalled.

You are right. (Even for non Catholics) it would be akin to them receiving "protestant" grape juice at holy communion, and then flushing that down the toilet or throwing it out the window. This sounds about as stupid as it can get.
