Stand has a real bad habit of calling a number of people on FR 'racists', 'bigots', 'damnyankess', 'fools', plus countless other derogatory terms. Maybe he can't help being rude, who knows.
I once asked SW whether one can believe that the North was in the right during the Civil War and not be a "DamnYankee."
He's never given me a response.
That leads me to conclude that in SW's eyes, unless one agrees that the CSA was pure, noble and completely in the right and that the North was full of child-molesting war-criminals who wanted nothing more than to deflower every Southern maiden they came upon, then that person is by default a "DamnYankee."
