"but the graphic footage enraged many......."

Are these the same people that somehow couldn't summon any rage for the mass graves? for the people fed into shredders?

keywords for these people: perspective/big picture

Hint to libs: It's a war, folks!

"No way. Bad sign. BTW, where is Cpl. Hassoun? Does anyone know?"
Unfortunately according to an article I saw here yesterday, the uniform issues is true. CpL the turn coat is somewhere on earth. Sad. Guess it's a tough call for some recruiters to know who to discourge from wanting to join up. They do have quotas to meet. This guy was in the 2nd Marine Bn 2nd Marine Regiment (east coast Warlords), that deployed last March through early October to Iraq, where they moved their FOB five times, during those eight months. They ranged between Al Mahmudiaya upward to just north of the Fallujah FOBs. Hasson jumped ship while 2/2 where at camp MEK (0ne of the large Fallujah camps). My nephew ( a LCpl ) told me 2/2 was really worried about what happened to him. They tried to find him, thinking he may have somehow got grabbed and shot just outside camp MEK (it's close to road #10 east/west that runs to F.). Anyway. The guy must have just lost his balls or something to pull a stunt off like that. Sad. He had to prove himself to become a Marine then was expected to cover his buddies backs. Surely he could see that our military are not against the Iraqi people in general. But admittedly some probably do display various degrees of amonouslity toward them due to the conditions. Perhaps he witnessed to many Marines taking a bit of pleasure when they "get some". Who knows. Guess this one is a sort of tough call.

I noticed that windchime. Within the thread from yesterday a freeper does mention something about a report of CBS regarding this matter. I did a search for an article from CBS, but never did find one.

'Looks Like the Fallujah Marine Will Not Be Prosecuted'- O'Reilly's lead for tonight's show.

Bill O'Reilly reported the older story tonight sourcing CBS. The link from your post yesterday accesses today's 'corrected' story.

Very strange.

The same reason they call Marines soldiers. They are ignorant.

We ask these men to do the impossible, ask their families to go through hell waiting to hear if their loved one was killed or injured, then when they do their job, we bring them back and have the full weight of the federal government and military try to prosecute them into federal penetary or worse. Where in the hell are the congressmen regarding this case. Where is the Administration in this case. We all saw what was on the tape. The tape exonerates this marine. He was in the most dangerous 40 acres of real estate on the planet and he made a decision, which was reasonable, and acted on that assessment. Lord help this man and this country to see and do what is right.

Yea but the Marine Corps. just caved under regarding the class uniform a Marine(s) will wear when accompanying a fallen brother on his last earthy journey. Marines will no longer wear dress blues to visit families of those KIA.

Incorrect. Only death notifications by CACOs will be done in Service Alphas per MARADMIN 057/05 .Notification by CACOs in Dress Blues must be approved by CMC

"CEREMONIAL EVENTS DURING THE CASUALTY ASSISTANCE PROCESS, SUCH AS BURIAL, ARE MORE APPROPRIATE FOR THE WEAR OF THIS UNIFORM. REQUESTS TO MAKE NOTIFICATIONS IN THE DRESS BLUE UNIFORM MUST BE APPROVED BY CMC (MRPC)."

Thank you for those corrections. As usual the media does not report the full story. As usual I do not seek to verify all they say.
