Well, if we allow homosexuals complete freedom, the number of such children will decrease rather rapidly, won't they?
The only reason that this gene has survived for so long is that cultural pressure forced everyone to marry and have children.

Let's not forget that this "gay gene" does not exist.
To: rface
Interesting indeed. I'm pro life even if they are trying to use a fantasy genetic marker to promote a homosexual lifestyle.

Do I get this right? It is OK to kill off babies (in utero)as long as they are not potentially gay, but if they are potentially gay, then an abortion is illegal?
This pushes "equal rights" to "extra rights" fro the chosen classes.

I believe Rep. Brian Duprey (R-Hampden) has actually used his powers wisely here. He is creating a quandry for the liberals.

I posited this dilemma in
Joe 6-Pack's Questions for Liberals sometime before 2001 (see question #1). I reposted it in 9/01 (link) as I couldn't find my original post, which I believe was from '99.....

The sponsor of the bill is a pro-life conservative, and he's been submitting legislation that will get attention and cause people to reexamine their liberal views.

That may be your view, but not everyone agrees.
I firmly expect that if avowed homesexuals give up having children, in a short time there will be very few homosexuals left.

well i think the senator is pointing out the ridiculousness of abortion. It's not a hate crime because the unborn fetus is a umm a fetus not a person. If it were a person then it would be murder right? I think its a good idea for him to bring it up now. Think a little before accusations and you disown the guy because he said gay, legislation, and law in the same paragraph.
But the idea behind this kills me. They are proposing a bill that IF they discover there is a gay gene then this bill will happen. Can i create a patent for a anitgravitational ray gun IF one ever gets created? It seems pretty dumb to me.

he said, I want to ensure that a woman could not abort an unborn child simply because that child is determined to be carrying this gene.Let's get series here, how would anyone be able to determine the actual reason that the woman/couple would choose to abort?
Hmmm?
