That is all ? Wow, the slimey Dems are losing thier touch. OK, how many dead people, how many non-existent John Does voted as well. They also could have picked up a serious number from those that dwell in cardboard boxes in alleys, as Gore did in 2000 by handing out cigarettes...

ILLEGAL VOTES
In court documents turned over to the attorneys for the Washington State Democrat Party, the Rossi campaign provided the documentation of 1,108 illegal felon votes, 45 illegal votes cast on behalf of deceased persons, 10 voters who voted more than once in Washington State, and 5 voters who voted in Washington and another state. These numbers will continue to grow...
On top of these numbers, there are the hundreds of provisional ballots from around the state that were counted before they were checked to see if they were valid voters. Also, there is still the large discrepancy in King County where there are 2,000 more votes than voters.
This is what Christine Gregoire calls a "model election."
Here is the breakdown of the illegal felon votes by county:
884 from King County
38 from Thurston County
33 from Clark County
31 from Yakima County
30 from Pierce County
27 from Snohomish County
20 from Spokane County
17 from Benton County
13 from Whatcom County
7 from Lewis County
6 from Kitsap County
1 from Skagit County
1 from Walla Walla County
No wonder one media poll says that 63% of Washington residents are calling for a Revote.
The Rossi campaign has done some polling in recent weeks and voters were asked if the election were held today who would they vote for in the Governor's race -- Dino Rossi beats Gregoire by over 10 %. I am sure the Democrats have done the same polling and have likely obtained the same results. Thus, this is why they are fighting so hard against a Revote.
I should add: of the king county votes, which are 1/3 of the state's total, notice that 80% felons are in that county alone!
Why is this whole damn mess not being expedited to the Supremes?
Has she signed any legislation? If so, can I ignore it? What a freakin mess.

If this was a 'model election' , Gregoire and a few other dems in positions of trust should be modelling striped outfits, black and white ones in Leavenworth.
The abuse of public trust and the electoral process should not be taken lightly, imo.

Actually I see nothing wrong with reenfranchising people who have paid their debt to society. It is the Christian thing to do.
Now being for a change in the law is one thing, not enforcing an existing law is another.
But one has to ask, what about poor Martha Stewart?
This will be impossible to ignore. Could this meet any criteria for a recall?
The next step will likely be a hearing to determine what Rossi will need to prove to win his case in court. Judge John E. Bridges declined last Friday to set a trial date, saying he wants both sides to finish their discovery before he decides when the trial should happen.
What a joke. Does anyone really believe that the demorats will ever finish a search? Consider this case done. Over. There will be no trial date set. Judicial activism at work.
It sounds like the Judge who will make the call is making sure it's done by the book and both sides are being forced to comply with the process.
I'm not a betting person, but sure like the odds for a new election, at this rate.
As high as the recidivism rate is, it's a stupid thing to do.

no explanations needed.....
not only did they do quasi-illegal things after the first election, they continued right on until they could stuff enough extra ballots in to give the election to Gregoire....
they purposefully sent many more ballots to the Democrat controlled canvassing boards so they could "decipher" who the ballot was for, forgoeing all logic, and presto!.....they just happened to come up with those 129 votes....
We've been hearing that pessimism for months now, yet the case proceeds.
In Washington state, felons ARE allowed to vote...IF they meet all the requirements the court set for them.
For instance, a former lawyer leaves prison after 3 years, but is still required to repay the $150,000 he stole from clients. AFTER he satisfies every penny of the court ordered repayment, he may apply to have his voting rights reinstated.
I agree with that approach. Let them vote, but only after they've met ALL their obligations to their victims.
In fact, I would take it a step farther. Apply the same criteria to dead-beat dads and others who haven't been convicted of a felony but have failed to satisfy court ordered payments (think O.J. Simpson). Do court orders have meaning or not?

You call this proceeding? I call it stalling at best. Four years from now it will still be "proceeding" to the next general election.
