That Is Satanic. There is a good Jewish judgement on this; Deut. 19:21....Maybe Terri will get more out of this than just her life and rehabilitation, Pray for justice.

In 1963, the Catholic Church lifted its prohibition forbidding Catholics to choose cremation. Canon 1176 of the 1983 Code of Canon Law states, "The Church earnestly recommends the pious custom of burying the bodies of the dead be observed, it does not however, forbid cremation.

I didn't say a body couldn't be cremated after a funeral. Maybe the article I read was a little out of date and they no longer require a body at a funeral mass, but I wouldn't see why they'd change that detail except in cases where the body was destroyed by the cause of death [e.g. in a plane crash].

Oh I know she will. Jesus had easy street compared to her.

So, if Medicaid is paying for her care, wouldn't the citizens of the State of Florida, who are indirectly paying for her care, have any standing in this case?

Well, they could demand that she be remanded to her parents' care, off the taxpayer's dime.

***I personally think he is afraid of attempted murder charges.***

I have thought that all along, that husband does not want Terri to speak. I believe he attempted murder.

you didn't read it very well. The radiologists noted the complete absence of CEREBRAL CORTEX. She does have a brainstem which controls autonomic functions. Brain stems have nothing to do with cognitive functions.

Other people have received similar diagnoses and recovered. Don't ask me how, but it's happened.

I don't know, but I would think that it would be pretty hard to get a policy worth much $ if the person is in Terri's condition and you have a "do not resuscitate" order on them.

I'm just me, but I think he would have been financially better off to get an annulment.

And I have studied and studied and I find no credible evidence that he caused her collapse at all, and very strong evidence that the original diagnosis was correct.

I think the only reason he continues the fight is because he has a very stubborn streak and has a huge grudge against her parents. He might fear her getting any better at all but only because he doesn't want to believe Terri is/was aware of her awful situation - which he should have made more pleasant.

(I also think he lied about the convo with Terri to get the tube pulled.)

My brother died three years ago as a STRICT Catholic. His wife was instructed by the Bishop (a personal friend) to forego cremation until after the funeral Mass was completed. I assumed he did this out of a desire to adhere to Canon Law.

Loving husband has already decided, Heinsenberg ... after her court-sanctioned murder, Terri is to be immediately cremated, already approved by Judge Greer and paid for by her rehabilitation funds. And I think her final resting place is to be in Pennsylvania, but one poster awhile back thought the husband from hell just might scatter her ashes at the feet of her parents. Plausible.

Do you find something particularly convincing by just repeating the same thing over again with no additional information after your original point was refuted? I'm not impressed.

My point exactly! Attorneys? Any chance?

nope...nobody has ever " recovered" from no brain. People have recovered from severe brain trauma. No one has ever spontaneously regenerated a totally missing organ in all of medical history.

Problem is it isn't missing
