In short, yes he loses money by keepig her alive. I dont remember the specifics, but he loses money by giving her to her parents and/or keeping her alive.

Isn't he the one that caused her to be in this condition in the first place?

What I don't understand is, what does he stand to gain by her death that a divorce wouldn't do? Does he have a life insurance policy out on her?

Ya think???

I guess what she's trying to say is - you're too stupid to live! Sheesh!!

Bingo! But I don't think he's the only one trying to cover his tracks. The doctors who intially treated her and shoddy police work have enabled to walk Schiavo to roam free so far.

Does he have a life insurance policy out on her?

Yes, but most of it would now be soaked up in medical expenses and lawyer's fees.

It's unbelievable that bleeding-heart liberals find starvation and thirst as an acceptable way to end a precious life. But then they believe far worse with abortion. With criminals and terrorists of course they want the kindest of treatment.

Actually, I'm 5 miles from where this is all happening. The parents have offered to pay him off - just release custody to them.

At this point, he is showing them who's boss, so to speak. It is a total power-struggle.

Also, there is the allegation that he tried to murder her (which is what her parents believe) and if she ever regains consciousness, he'll be found out. I personally believe he did something to her.

Medical Malpractice Trial – Testimony of Michael Schiavo November 1992

Q: Why did you want to learn to be a nurse?
Michael Schiavo: Because I enjoy it and I want to learn more how to take care of Terri.

Q: You're a young man. Your life is ahead of you. When you look up the road, what do you see for yourself?
Michael Schiavo: See myself hopefully finishing school and taking care of my wife.

Q: Where do you want to take care of your wife?
Michael Schiavo: I want to bring her home.

Q: If you had the resources available to you, if you had the equipment and the people, would you do that?
Michael Schiavo: Yes, I would, in a heartbeat.

Q: How do you feel about being married to Terri now?
Michael Schiavo: I feel wonderful. She's my life and I wouldn't trade her for the world. I believe in my wedding vows. ,

Q: You believe in your wedding vows, what do you mean by that?
Michael Schiavo: I believe in the vows I took with my wife, through sickness, in health, for richer or poor. I married my wife because I love her and I want to spend the rest of my life with her. I'm going to do that.

"The stay will remain until 5pm tomorrow."

Oh. There is something SERIOUSLY wrong with him. There is NO REASON he can't give custody of Terri back to her parents. NONE, except for stinking book sales and a few bucks that were awarded to him for Terri's treatment but never spent on it.

Nobody ever looked seriously into the reason her neck was so overextended that it caused all of this to begin with, or why Michael didn't call 9-11 immediately

The irony, of course, is that her parents will most likely file a civil suit against him seeking damages from her insurance policy as soon as she expires (if she does).

As I understand it, Terri was working at an insurance agency when this happened. Surely one of the employment perks would be insurance.

To demonstrate the legal contradictions in this case, Floridians should pass a law mandating starvation and dehydration as the required means of execution for deathrow criminals. Does anyone really think the liberal citizenry and courts would consider that not to be cruel and unusual punishment?

That has been my question all along in this case. Where does common sense come in to play?
